Subpoena Demands Identities Of Online Commenters

Bloggers, this could have repercussions for all of us, down the line.

From this source (spotted over at Atlas Shrugs):
LAS VEGAS - A Las Vegas newspaper says it has been served a federal grand jury subpoena seeking information about readers who posted comments on the paper's Web site....
Read the rest HERE.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal has stated intentions to fight the subpoena:
[The newspaper's editor] said anonymous speech is "a fundamental and historic part of this country." The newspaper would consider cooperating if specific crimes or real threats were presented, he said.
The case is that of a tax-fraud case, unrelated to the anti-jihad. But precedents have a way of being set.

Best to keep track of what's going on with this case.

I'd prefer to have stories on the front page two or three times, than to not have them appear at all.

This is the way IBA was in the old days. I'm glad those days are back. Every one is on top of their game.

All the non-stories that are fit to print.

MR,
I don't know if your post was up when I first started on mine.

Pasto,
I love the new subtitle here at IBA.
