BREAKING: SAUDIS GREENLIGHT IDF ATTACK ON IRAN

BUMPED TO THE TOP TIL TOMORROW MORNING - SCROLL DOWN FOR NEW POSTS

From Reliapundit, the Astute Blogger:

SAUDIS GREENLIGHT THE ATTACK TO DESTROY IRAN'S NUKE ASSETS:
Saudi Arabia has indicated to Israel that it would not protest use of its airspace by Israeli fighter jets in the event the government resolves to launch a military assault against Iran, according to a report which appeared in the British Sunday Times.

According to The Sunday Times, Mossad chief Meir Dagan held secret meetings with Saudi officials who gave their tacit approval to Israel's use of the kingdom's airspace.

"The Saudis have tacitly agreed to the Israeli air force flying through their airspace on a mission which is supposed to be in the common interests of both Israel and Saudi Arabia," The Sunday Times quoted a diplomatic source as saying last week.

The report also quoted John Bolton, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, as saying that it would be "entirely logical" for Israeli warplanes to fly over Saudi Arabia en route to bombing nuclear targets in Iran.

Though any Israeli attack would be roundly condemned by Mideast leaders at the UN, Bolton said Arab leaders have privately expressed trepidation at the prospect of a nuclear-armed Iran.

"None of them would say anything about it publicly but they would certainly acquiesce in an overflight if the Israelis didn't trumpet it as a big success," Bolton told The Sunday Times.

GOOD.

TOO BAD THE USA WON'T DO IT. TOO BAD AND SHAMEFUL.

This doesn't surprise me too much. S.A. would be threatened by Iranian nukes like anyone else. They just don't want to do the wet work themselves and would prefer the U.S. (ain't gonna happen) or the Israelis (someone who still has balls) to do it.

We have become a laughing stock where force and will is concerned in just a few short motnhs.

Culturist foreign policy says strike while the iron is hot. I don't mind if Iran threatens Saudi Arabia with nukes, but we cannot allow them to threaten Israel or other western nations with nukes.

How publicised is this offer? Is it published in Arab media? If not, too much room for denial - after the fact.

Does the Saudi offer include refueling privileges in S.A.? Are the Saudi's offering their own pilots, traffic control, airspace to assist?

Whiff the stench of Saudi taqiyya.

Israel is alone.

Once Israel makes a move against the Iranian nuke program, the entire 57 nation muslim umma will unite with the pusillanimous UN and EU dutifully following suit. Expect Holder/Clinton/Obama to fall in line with the umma tout de suite.

This offer should be openly ridiculed for the cowardly set up that it appears to be . . .

unless

. . . .it is publicly backed up with direct involvement from the petulant, slothful, invertebrate Sauds.

Per Anon above - I am worried about the world turning on Israel in the aftermath of any such operation also.

Our problem is the US manned Patriot Missile Batteries in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, and the UAE.

The Americans are the problem...and they are very serious about protecting Iran from an Israel attack.

Who the fuck ever said the Arabs were the problem???? The Arabs cannot tell the Americans to stand down.

(Of course Obama loves us,,,he'll cooperate! Just like Bush-Klinton-Bush!)

Michael Travis -

Looks like someone read your post -

Haaretz is reporting that Biden has said the US will not stop an Israeli attack on the reactors.

Who knows if this is true or just more dis/mis-information?

However, I am still concerned about Israel's safety post-operation.

From Israellycool

US Vice President Joe Biden has made it clear that the Obama administration won’t stand in Israel’s way should we choose to take military action to eliminate Iran’s nuclear threat.

STEPHANOPOULOS: And meanwhile, Prime Minister Netanyahu has made it pretty clear that he agreed with President Obama to give until the end of the year for this whole process of engagement to work. After that, he’s prepared to make matters into his own hands.

Is that the right approach?

BIDEN: Look, Israel can determine for itself — it’s a sovereign nation — what’s in their interest and what they decide to do relative to Iran and anyone else.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Whether we agree or not?

BIDEN: Whether we agree or not. They’re entitled to do that. Any sovereign nation is entitled to do that. But there is no pressure from any nation that’s going to alter our behavior as to how to proceed.

What we believe is in the national interest of the United States, which we, coincidentally, believe is also in the interest of Israel and the whole world. And so there are separate issues.

If the Netanyahu government decides to take a course of action different than the one being pursued now, that is their sovereign right to do that. That is not our choice.

STEPHANOPOULOS: But just to be clear here, if the Israelis decide Iran is an existential threat, they have to take out the nuclear program, militarily the United States will not stand in the way?

BIDEN: Look, we cannot dictate to another sovereign nation what they can and cannot do when they make a determination, if they make a determination that they’re existentially threatened and their survival is threatened by another country.

STEPHANOPOULOS: You say we can’t dictate, but we can, if we choose to, deny over-flight rights here in Iraq. We can stand in the way of a military strike.

BIDEN: I’m not going to speculate, George, on those issues, other than to say Israel has a right to determine what’s in its interests, and we have a right and we will determine what’s in our interests.

Bingo!

And of course, we cannot, and must not trust O'Biden.

Since January the US has; Warned the Sudanese that Israel was about to attack a convoy traveling in it's territory on it's way to deliver supplies to HAMAS.

Assisted the Lebanese in the apprehension of an "Israeli spy ring" that were monitoring the activities of Hizzballah.

Accelerated it's training "assistance" to the PLO-PA...and by doing so helped prepare terror attacks against Israeli targets.

Biden's message was pretty clear, if you ask me. This is the "no meddling" with dictators administration, but they are saying they would not stand in the way.

Michael may be right, but time will tell.

Worried about Israel AFTER AN ATTACK?

Are you people nuts?

The world has ALREADY turned on Israel. Balance the concrete result of a successful CAMPAIGN vs people/nations who already wish Israel dead and dislike jews feeling even more pissed off?

Will Chavez attack more temples in Venezuela, invade Honduras and hunt down jews there?

Will our colleges be MORE pro palestinian? CAN THEY BE?

Will France suddenly cut off arms shipments? (and skip the money?)

NOT EVEN CLOSE, folks.

If this story is right the Saudi have gone FURTHER than ever, and further than I would have believed possible. They have decided to work with the jews, the killers of the prophets, the sons of apes and pigs...to get the Iranians. They'll NEVER admit to it. Forget it.

SOMETHING, however, to the Al Saud, is WORSE than the jews.

It's hysterical.

Now imagine what they think of Barack Obama in Riyadh for putting them in this position?

Good point, Epa. I hadn't thought of that angle.
