Brigitte Gabriel

I am assuming that some of you here have seen this before. But I am reposting it because lately I have been talking to a lot of people who think "Islam is a religion of peace" or "the majority of the Muslims in the world are moderate Muslims and hence against violence" or "Islam has been hijacked by terrorists." One of these kind of stupid (or maybe naive) people is found at my church!!

Anyway, I know this is a lot of videos to watch and I know a lot of you don't want to spend this kind of time watching the same thing but I would encourage you to watch all of the videos in sequence and listen closely to what she says.

Also, towards the end, notice how dumb our every day reporters and news people sound. Their questions sound like they were written by 4 year old kids as a joke-project. The only intelligent questions came from a guy who says he's there in his "own personal capacity" (or something like that) and a woman who says "I am an American" (I believe).

Anyway, I am going to stop talking now and let you watch the videos if you are interested.

Brigitte is always worth taking time to watch.

Most people aren't really "stupid" about Islam, but at this point their "naivete" has become a sort of carefully maintained ignorance. They do not want to be made to confront the truth about Islam because it makes them uncomfortable, it creates cognitive dissonance ("death to apostates? - but it's a Religion of Peace!), their liberal friends become angry with them, they get called "racist", it calls into question "multiculturalism", they have to face the fact that President Barack Hussein Obama may not have the best interests of the United States at heart.

It creates doubt in their craven little belief that if we just get rid of Israel everything will be fine and dandy, it makes them consider the horrifying possibility that Bush may have been right once in a while, and that maybe some of those "nice" "moderate" Muslims they know from work are less than completely honest about what they think of "infidels". They have to put down the latest Dan Brown and read some book about the real conspiracy to take down Western Civilization that is the Jihad.

And if they do learn the truth about Islam, it means they have to get off their behinds and do something about it. Which might mean rubbing elbows with those horrid Tea Party people. Causing a "fuss". Making a "scene". Standing up to the teachers who are trying to indoctrinate their kids with "Muslim Days" and the management where they work who require "sensitivity training".

In other words, their lives become what ours have, and it sucks. It's so much nicer hit the snooze alarm and just sink into the multiculti featherbed.

And guess who'll be stuck with having to "educate" them all when the WAKE UP call finally arrives.

Well the guy at my church that I was referring to actually said the following words: "I think God sent his word to Mohammed and its the terrorists that have actually hijacked Islam and twisted it."

He was pretty darn disturbed when I told him the truth. He asked me to present the evidence, I did, and then he said, "I don't know, I will have to research about it. Present me with more proof for what you're saying because I don't believe you."

Now that guy, whether you call him naive or stupid (I say its the latter), has no proof to back his own assumption up but he's asking me to back up not just my statement but my "evidence" with another evidence that proves my evidence. How dumb do people have to be.

Argh, I think I have blood coming out of my ears just describing all this.
