All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

The Real Stuff
I had the first three album that are featured on the above video. The second album Bert Jansch was one of my favorite guitarists
also he was a member of one of my favorite bands at that time "Pentangle"
You don't deal with the fact that Zeppelin's stunning originality of approach was a paradigm shift in the progression of blues music and it's transformation into a whole new kind of rock music.
Your lack of willingness to deal with that tells me either
1) you don't have the aesthetic development to understand it
or
2) you are not dealing with it, because you can't deny it
No one denies that the original blues artists made important contributions to music.
However, you are denying that Zeppelin made important contributions to music.
That is laughable.
If you want to continue on in this, go ahead. I will no longer comment, because it is just too stupid.
Well, I'm glad to hear we can agree on that. It's an unimportant point in the scheme of things, but I have a real problem with people (like Robert Hilburn) who know music but refuse to give Zeppelin their due.
One has to wonder which band will be played the most in 100 years from now,

Shiva -- sorry to cut in on your post but you had part 1 up twice and forgot part 2. I took out the second part 1 and inserted part 2 for you.
Um, why are we talking about musical plagiarism -- the industry is rife with it it could take up a whole blog of it's own -- on a counter jihad blog?
I have taken out a patent on 12 bar blues progressions.
I am very litigious so be warned.
God I hate that Boojie-Woojie shite!
Let's have some Carpenters OK?
Shiva,
I conceded the plagiarism.
