All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Someone please define .. "Kahanism"
The latest CJ/anti CJ thread provided Kahanism as an exemplar of something hateful ...
Can we define what that is?
"Kahanism" an extension of the JDL? Population transfer? Religious warfare (or recognition that it's going on?)
Well, Jeppo was not able to provide a link, but I would imagine that CJ would object to the proposals for population transfer and signing of loyalty oaths.
But honestly, I don't see that Israel has any better option. The Palestinians, even many of those in Israel proper, have proven over and over that they will side with the Hamas Charter and the PLO Charter whenever asked to do so.
For anyone who does not know, both the Hamas Charter and the PLO Charter (the PLO is the older name for the PA, and the charter is available on the UN website) call for the destruction of Israel.
I think Kahanism could be defined as the teachings and writings of Meir Kahane, now mainly channeled into the Kach movement and its affiliates. These groups are now banned as terrorist organizations in Israel, the US, Canada and the EU. Personally I think that banning them was a huge overreaction, done mainly for PC reasons to balance the multitude of banned Islamic terror organizations.
Kahanism is an quasi-religious expansionist movement that wants to annex the West Bank and Gaza and expell all or most of the Palestinians living there. Some factions want to also absorb Jordan, the Sinai and southern Lebanon as well. They never really enjoyed any electoral success even in their heyday in the early 1990s, and now they are basically an underground fringe movement. I believe that they're more popular with diaspora Jews than with Israelis.
However I don't think that Avigdor Lieberman is a Kahanist or anything remotely like a Kahanist. Lieberman's main concern is ethno-religious demographics, namely the survival of an Israel with an overwhelming Jewish majority. And unlike the Kahanists, Lieberman is also resolutely secular. In fact, you could fairly call him an anti-Kahanist because he wants to cede Arab-populated parts of Israel proper (a total anathema to die-hard Kahanists) to the Palis in exchange for Jewish-populated areas of the West Bank.
With the Kahanists it's all about the land, and with the Our Home Israel people (Lieberman's party), it's all about the demographics. Or you could label them as expansionists and separationists respectively. So to try to label Lieberman as a Kahanist is a typical bullshit leftist tactic that's not only false, but a complete 180 from the truth.
Given the info provided by Jeppo (and it corresponds with what I have read of the Kach movement), I would say that for CJ to define Lieberman as a Kahanist is to define Kahanism as being any Jew who will get on the train.
