That means that they are not investigating the Ft. Hood massacre as an act of jihad, nor are they likely to. To deny the reality that jihad threatens us all ensures that this will happen again. It is irresponsible and unconscionable to intentionally endanger American troops and civilians, yet, that's what they are doing. The Obama administration and the FBI want pregnant first responders to get shot in the back by terrorist scum. This is not debatable. If it were, they would be performing an honest investigation and placing our lives above politically correct pandering to terrorists and pedophiles.
The FBI knew Nidal Malik Hasan had jihadist leanings for six months, as did his colleagues for quite some time. They knew this would happen and they did nothing. They will continue to do nothing.
It is not "jumping to conclusions" to assume, let alone consider, whether this was an act of jihad.
- He prayed five times a day.
- He had been disciplined for proselytizing.
- He self-identified as “Palestinian,” despite having been born in Virginia.
- He refused to be photographed with women but frequently had little girls over to his place.
- He worshipped at Dar al-Hijrah under al-Awlaki at the same time as two 9/11 jihadists. A third 9/11 jihadist worshipped under the same imam in California.
- He supported another Mohammedan who killed Army comrades.
- He had been under investigation by the FBI for six months over statements made online condoning homicide bombings, but I guess jihad wasn't considered as a motive for that, either.
- He told colleagues that infidels should be condemned to hell and set on fire – in front of a group of peers during a medical presentation.
- He also worshipped daily under Faizul Khan, a Muslim Brotherhood leader and prominent “the Jews did it” troofer.
- He called the War on Terror a “war against Islam.”
- He shouted “Allah-hu ackbar!” as he shot at soldiers, including a pregnant woman, whom he shot in the back.
- He received advanced weapons training while receiving his education, despite the fact that he was not in combat forces.
- He told colleagues that infidels should have their throats cut.
Fortunately, Joe Lieberman is calling for a congressional investigation into terrorism as a motive. Congress should investigate whether the FBI is intentionally endangering us and the military's screening process as well. Clearly, they're looking out for the terrorists and the pedophiles if not offending them outweighs protecting our lives. This is treason. People should hang for refusing to "jump to conclusions." If terrorists and pedophiles aren't offended, you're doing something horribly wrong.
Here are some of the jihadist's supporters, FBI.
Nothing to see here. We don't want to offend terrorists and pedophiles, now. After all, these people are clearly great assets to our society. Way better to not hurt their feelings than to prevent the murders of all of the following innocent Americans and severe injuries to another 30+:
- Staff Sgt. Justin M. DeCrow, 32, of Plymouth, Ind.
- Army Reservist John Gaffaney, 56, of Serra Mesa, Calif.
- Spc. Jason Dean Hunt, 22, of Tipton, Okla.
- Pfc. Aaron Thomas Nemelka, 19, of West Jordan, Utah
- Russell Seager, 51, of Racine, Wis.
- Maj. L. Eduardo Caraveo, 52, originally from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico
- Pregnant Pvt. Francheska Velez, 21, of Chicago, Ill., and the baby in her womb
- Military physician assistant Juanita Warman, 55, of Pittsburgh, Pa.
- Sgt. Amy Krueger, 29, of Kiel, Wis.
- Pfc. Michael Pearson, 21, of Bolingbrook, Ill.
- Michael Grant Cahill, 62, of Cameron, Texas
- Pfc. Kham Xiong, 23, of St. Paul, Minn.

The administration will do everything it thinks it can get away with to block this investigation. The FBI bailing out is no surprise. On this issue they are worse than useless. This will come down to the will of members of the military to confront the terrible wrong done to the dead and wounded because their superiors were more concerned with PC/MC and protecting their own careers and thought they could let a raving Islamist slide by because hey, he's a major and a shrink, what could happen?
You raise a good point I had not pondered. What does the every day soldier think of this?
Thing is, there are many Muslims in the military, and most of them are good soldiers. I heard a guy call in to the Hugh Hewitt Radio Show. He was a Seargent, as I recall. He said he thought perhaps we need to consider not allowing Muslims to be members of the military. HOWEVER, he also said he knew many very good soldiers who are Muslim.
Also, if this is called what it seems it actually is - terrorism - then the president has presided over the first act of domestic terrorism since 9-11, perpetrated by a seemingly radical Muslim, all after a very public "reaching out" to the Islamic world.
My gosh - imagine the commercials the opposition could run in 2010 and 2012 if it were generally acknowledged that this was, in fact, an act of jihad.
The feds are probably being directed to call it anything but!!
Whatever other motives are behind this sickening denial, you can bet that pure political survival is among them.

I just think of all the times I've sat in the food court at the commissary/BX at our local AFB where I take my elderly mother shopping, surrounded by our soldiers in uniform, and picture this maniac leaping up on a table and opening fire.
Anonymous brings up an important point. O'Hussain can't react forcefully to this without conceding there's a problem and "reaching out" to the Islamics hasn't solved it. And was never intended to do so in the first place. Now this happens, and he must do everything possible to get this written off as an anomaly and forgotten ASAP. How he plans to handle the next one will depend on how successful he is at defusing this one.
The loyal soldiers who are muslim are under the same constraints as everyone else and most of them are probably afraid to open their mouths.
Robert Spencer is calling Army Chief of Staff General George Casey a dhimmi tool for being more worried about "backlash" than getting to the bottom of this massacre, and I'd say Robert is right on the money. If you haven't checked out Gaubatz and Sperry's "Muslim Mafia" get hold of a copy right away. The FBI is just doing what they've done all along though usually they've confined it to police departments. Now they're about to try the same dhimmi sabotage on the Army. And if CAIR hadn't got dumped by the Fibbies last year once they figured out they couldn't get away with using a Hamas tool for "outreach" any longer.
