Pledge of Allegiance to Islam? Start Shutting Down the Mosques

From Atlas Shrugs:

On Dar al Hijrah’s web site: All mosque members are required to “pronounce and sign a Pledge of Allegiance to Islam and Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center Constitution as prepared by the Board.” A pledge of allegiance to Islam.

Why aren't these fortresses shut down? Why are we allowing these enemy military installations to operate freely on American soil as they plot our demise? For years I advocated for monitoring the mosques but we have now gone way beyond that.

Dar al Hijrah is the mosque/fortress that wet nursed respected imam Al Awalki - the spiritual leader of the Fort Hood jihadi and the testicular bomber.

And this pledge of allegiance is consistent with Islamic teaching. You cannot serve anyone or anything above allah. The Constitution and the Koran are incompatible. They will tell you differently - taqiya (deception to advance Islam) - but ask former Muslims who have read the Koran in arabic (not the whitewashed versions used to con the infidel).

Spencer on Al Awlaki

Both Hasan and Abdulmutallab were linked to the New Mexico-born, Yemen-based Islamic cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who boasted in October 2009 that Yemen would soon become a center of the global jihad – and has been doing his best to bring that about by preaching violence and hatred against Jews and Christians for years.

Al-Awlaki has also recently decried the cartoons of Muhammad that caused worldwide riots after being published in a Danish newspaper in late 2005. He characterized the cartoons as “one of the worst events or incidents of cursing Muhammad. In fact it might be the worst in our history.” He warned that the cartoonists, “by committing blasphemy against our beloved Muhammad have actually walked straight into a hornet’s nest, and that the dust of this will never settle down.”

Every regular member shall pronounce and sign a Pledge of Allegiance to Islam and Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center Constitution as prepared by the Board.

I can't believe how stupid these people are. It's almost as if they WANT Americans to believe Muslim Americans, ALL of them are "fellow travelers" of radical terrorists whom happen to be Muslim.

It would seem like they NEED something like this to make Americans believe the same belief how Japanese-Americans were "fellow travelers" of Imperial Japan.

Sick I say.

I don't really understand your comment. Japanese Americans were not, in general, fellow travellers. Muslims in America, through their complicit silence, are, in my opinion, proving themselves to be fellow travellers.

And, this story adds to that, because, as you note, it is so in our face.

Pastorius,

I think Mah29001 is saying how during World War 2 most Americans were Terrified that everyone in America of Japanese decent was secretly siding with Japan and the Axis over America, and how this encourages that kind of thinking today when it comes to Muslim Americans.

Mah29001,

Which in the end does not help us at all. If you don't see yourself as an American first and foremost, you have no right to call yourself an American, or the rights of American citizen. If you are going to side with the enemies of America because they happen to be part of the same religion or race that you are, you are betraying America.

Thanks for the clarification.

What Does "Islam" Mean?
The word "Islam" itself means "Submission to Allah." The religion of Islam is not named after a person as in the case of "Christianity" which was named after Jesus Christ, "Buddhism" after Gutama Buddha , "Marxism" after Karl Marx, and "Confucianism" after Confucius.
Similarly, Islam is not named after a tribe like "Judaism" after the tribe of Judah and "Hinduism" after the Hindus. The Arabic word "Islam" means the submission or surrender of one's will to the will of the only true god worthy of worship, "Allah" (known as God "the Father" in Christianity).
Anyone who does indeed submit to the will of Allah as required by Islam is termed a "Muslim," which means one who has submitted to the will of Allah. Many people in the West have developed the sad misinformed trend of calling Islam "Muhammadenism" and it's followers "Muhammadins." This is a totally foreign word to Muslims and unrecognized by them. No Muslim has ever called his religion "Muhammadenism" or called himself a "Muhammadin."
