If you pass a law in which suddenly 79% of americans cannot say you govern any longer with their consent .... just like elections ..THIS HAS CONSEQUENCES ... the main one for you apparently Mr. Hoyer is PARANOID FEAR.
Steny Hoyer: Members are at risk
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer is warning that some of his Democratic colleagues are being threatened with violence when they go back to their districts — and he wants Republicans to stand up and condemn the threats.
The Maryland Democrat said more than 10 House Democrats have reported incidents of threats or other forms of harassment about their support of the highly divisive health insurance overhaul vote. Hoyer emphasized that he didn’t have a specific number of threats and that was just an estimate.
This is how it is ... FEAR MONGERING by the left. No doubt if tea partiers lined up in utterly quiet defiance to protest outside your door, you would claim it is a silent menace.
GET USED TO IT. You cannot act so much in defiance of the intent of the Constitution AND the public will and sleep well.

My attitude is that the govt is TELLING ME I have to buy the mayonnaise with the green type because the think that's healthier than the yellow top.
I don't believe the federal govt has the right to COMMAND ME to buy a goddamn thing.
I also believe that the DEMS are INTENTIONALLY fanning the situation, exaggerating the situation, and going out of their way to ensure the MARGINALIZATION of all who firmly oppose what they want.
I believe they are a far greater danger than the citizens and in this I am in agreement with the founders.
Today it turns out the ONLY ACT OF VIOLENCE WHICH HAS OCCURRED WAS AGAINST Eric Cantor REPUBLICAN from VIRGINIA and coincidentally the ONLY Jewish republican in congress.
