All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Always glad to hear that particular Joni, but has Krall decided whether to me-too hubbie Costello and refuse to go to Israel?
Well, I think Elvis is the greatest singer/songwriter of his time.
But his politics make no sense. He dogged Bush every chance he gets, but is very lovey dovey about Obama who has escalated the war in Afghanistan with the resulting increase in casualties on both sides and belittles the beacon of freedom and justice that is America's gift to humanity.
He would refuse to perform in the only democracy in the Middle East, but appears with no qualm in Turkey, a country always high on everyone's human rights list, and a country that committed the genocide of over a million Christian Armenians with impunity.
His friend, Elton John, is banned from performing in Egypt because of his sexual orientation, but it hardly makes the news, much less does it garner the outrage of his rock and roll friends who instead denounce Israel's right to defend itself?
And if we're going to talk apartied, why does the world, including its rock stars, continue to look the other way at the gender apartied occurring in Islamic dictatorships and theocracies and this being the most benign thing that they do to their women!
And then the announcement of the title of his new album: "American Ransom???" WTF?
Elvis has said in song that he wants to bite the hand that feeds him. At 55, maybe he should reevaluate his politics. As one person has said: It seems as though he has aligned himself with the forces of darkness and evil in the world?
Elvis you may get off on being counter culture, but in Islam there will be no culture to counter and you are giving Hamas legitimacy when they openly state that their policy is the destruction of Israel and the genocide of the Jewish people. This is who you stand with?
Nothing can ever be the same. All the promises you made, they seem hollow. Your aim is not true.

OMG, Atlas is reporting that Rifqa Bary has uterine cancer and is very ill.
As of now Krall is scheduled to perform in Beirut 8/2/10 and Tel Aviv 8/4/10.
