I totally agree with the above. But I don't see a solution. Far too many people have been drawn in by the "Islam is a peaceful religion" that has been "highjacked" by "some" radicals.
And if those of us speak the truth, we are branded as racists and hateful right-wingers.
The new president has made things worse. By erasing all use of Islam in describing what is going on in the world, he has pleased all those who refuse to wake up to reality.
Yes, if people were to actually look around the world with open eyes, they would see that this "religion of peace" is actually creating a living hell on earth for millions.

The cowards will not allow themselves to recognize evil because if they did they would have to take some action that would disturb their comfortable little worlds. I saw this hundreds, thousands of times when I was contending with the evil of cults. People knew that those who created these cults were nutcases, a few even recognized that they were evil. But the ones you could get to DO something about it were the ones this evil had touched directly. Like the parents of children who had left college to join the Moonies or who had cut off all contact on the orders of Scientology. The psychologists and psychiatrists and clergy who tried to help. Even for the fiercest defenders of the religion of peace became almost impossible to keep the idea that everything is well with islam, that it's "only a religion" as others.
Months goes by... years without it being necessary to defend Buddhism in television news. I never saw on the news details explained on the influence of the Thora on the behavior of Jewish settlers. Islam is a religion of peace. Some of you may laugh or think it's ridiculous, but there is a huge misconception regarding equality and punishments. One of the laws in an islamic country is if you steal and you are caught your hands will be chopped off! The idea is people are scared enough not to do it and only about 2% of people have actually gone and have committed theft. Regardless of whether that punishment is severe or not, no one should be stealing in the first place!
Everyone has the right to choose. You read the holy QURAN and you have the option to believe what it says and follow it or you don't.
