Abbas cannot afford to reach a peace..because that would mean giving up forever the right of return so he'd be a dead man AFTER a then certain HAMAS takeover (i.e. the Palestinians THEMSELVES would rather fight and die forever than give that up...today..and prob for the next generation), nullifying any peace anyway, and Bibi knows there is no point in making a gesture to these guys because of this so why bother.
