FOREIGN POLICY:
I have made the point before that if the USA had in 1945 chosen a naval blockade of Japan, as a few wanted, rather than use nuclear weapons to end the war, we would NOT be allowing building materials into Japan. We would probably have allowed NOTHING.

Top story: Amidst the diplomatic fallout over Israel's raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla, which resulted in the deaths of nine pro-Palestinian activists, the Obama administration regards the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip as increasingly untenable, according to senior U.S. officials. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vigorously defended the blockade, saying that it is necessary for Israel's security. The unnamed administration officials, however, asserted that Netanyahu was privately in agreement that the current policy had to be modified.
This debate comes as another ship, the Rachel Corrie, will try to breach the Gaza blockade as early as Friday. The ship, which originated in Ireland, is carrying cement, educational materials, toys, and medical supplies meant for the people of Gaza. The European Campaign to End Siege on Gaza also announced that it had raised enough funds to sponsor three ships in a new flotilla.
I have no doubt Obama does not care. He is far more concerned with LOOKING BAD TO ARAB "FRIENDS", and those to whom Israeli has the right to defend itself so long as it is never used.
If one accepts that Israel should exist, then denial of weapons of to HAMAS is of prime importance to the lives of Israelis. Conversely, those who believe that HAMAS does not have to submit to inspections to assure there are no weapons should at least BE MEN and admit that the existance iof the ISraeli state and the safety of it's citizens are secondary to the concerns they have for people who freely and with personal responsibility voted in HAMAS.
There is no surprise here that Barack Obama is more concerned with those who voted for HAMAS than with the safety of our allies.
There is no surprise here that he would LIE that Netanyahu thinks a modification over this blockade is something he agrees with.
With every step this man has made in foreign policy Barack Obama has marched this nation and her allies further and further in to REAL PERIL as the sniffing wolves who sensed something new and amiss, NOW SMELL BLOOD.
Real people are really going to die as a direct result of this man's delusional fantasies about those who hold our way of life as an evil.

Exactly what i was saying this morning "Abbas demand bold US decisions on Middle East.US administration engaging with Hamas.Probably this is not going on since yesterday and why do i get the feeling someone is betraying Israel horribly?" if you see that ex friends of Obama are on these ships what else can you expect?
Meanwhile, back at the White House, they partied into the night! Paul McCartney said he was glad there was a president now in the White House who knew what a library was and that everyone should just "lay off," BO, that BO was doing good!
Dave Grohl called the president "my hero!"
And Elvis Costello said sometimes music is "an us against them proposition!" What could he have meant? Elvis will play music for "US," often, but not them? Who is them? Israel? The US is against Israel? How is this possible?
Meanwhile, the UN, that league of nations of which Israel is the only member denied full membership, released a report saying the US was "the world’s No. one user of targeted killings, largely as a result of its dependence on unmanned drone attacks in Pakistan and Afghanistan." The report called the drone attacks part of a "strongly asserted but ill-defined license to kill without accountability," and warned that drone attacks "are contributing to an erosion of longstanding international rules governing warfare."
According to the report, "In the eight years of George W. Bush’s presidency, drones, attacked militant targets 45 times. Since President Obama took office, just slightly less than a year and a half ago, the numbers have risen sharply: 53 last year and 39 this year in Pakistan alone!
Well, I say, at least Obama has kept his promise to spread US "overseas contingency operations" into Pakistan!
But accountability, another of his campaign promises? Hmmm?
It's also noteworthy that BO is racking up a higher number of US casualties than Bush, the illiterate war monger, respective to time in office!
But the jester at last's night fesitivities, Jerry Seinfeld, betrayed his tribe as he tumbled for BO and joked about Arizona's racist immigration law, and the peace singers sang and one thing for sure, music hath charms to soothe a savage beast, as, in BO's own words last night "part of what gets us through tough times (aka overseas contigency operations, aka WAR) is music!"
