It is vital that westerners begin grasp the deadly concept of islamic duality, the historical and contemporary reality that within islamic literature, and within islam infected minds, two seemingly opposite and entirely contradictory concepts can BOTH BE TRUE simultaneously.
Westerners typically have a great deal of trouble understanding this bizzarre truth. In western thought, if two concepts contradict one another, the more correct concept automatically cancels out the incorrect one. Thus it can never be Tuesday AND Wednesday (outside your door) at the same time. It can never be sunny AND dark (outside your door) at the same time. And you can never have your cake AND eat it too (at the same time).
Not so in islam. Islam truly is a "religion of peace" (to muslims) only when you understand that by definition and by default, to be outside of the islamic system (i.e. to be you) automatically puts you in a STATE OF WAR against the entire islamic system! Said a different way, if you don't live in an islam conquered or islam dominated land, ruled by the sharia law, then you live in a "land (or house) of war".
So if a muslim says to you "islam is peace" he really means (unless he is ignorant) that once you and your family and your people have been conquered, converted, or enslaved by islam, that is to say, once islam has completely dominated the entire Earth, then and only then, will "peace" be universal.
But it's a child molesting, goat fucking, head chopping sort of peace, that actually looks a lot more like hell on earth from a westerner's perspective. Savvy?
It's a religion of bowing down and kissing the jackboot.
Submission equals peace.
