Muslim Feminist Mona Eltahawy Exposes Tariq Ramadan

Much as I react with gut-level loathing of the Dark Ages-type Muslim in the scruffy beard, silly turban and nightshirt, the "manicured" looking ones like Ramadan and Rauf are even more dangerous because they lull the unthinking (and we've got more of them than the other kind) into thinking they are civilized human beings, when what they are is high-ranking SS officers caught in a time warp.

And good for Mona, but why the hell does she stay in that misogynistic religion at all? There must be a healthier way to get whatever she thinks she gets out of it.

Mona Eltahawy brings up excellent points. This troubles me. Why is OUR Left wing so blindly supportive of the Islamic Right Wing? The Islamic Right Wing is a million miles further to the right than our own right wing. Our own right wing has more in common with their left wing. Our left wing should be diametrically opposed to their right wing on every issue without question. Of course, they do share one goal: The destruction of our culture.

David,
It's sad, isn't it, that more Feminists are not fighting the Islamic threat. I don't understand it.

They fight the "Patriarchal system" in education, government, business, the media, etc., but they won't fight Islam. Islam is terribly dangerous to their cause.

Likewise, artists (I'm an artist) ought to realize they can only do, they can only get away with what they do, here in the West. In Islamic countries, most artists would be put to death for their shenanigans.

I like my artistic shenanigans. I wish to keep doing what I do. I can not understand why my fellow artists do not understand the severity of the threat.

I especially do not understand why they are willing to rail against the USA, when it is the power and the authority of our Constitution, and our system, which protects them and allows them to do the things they do.

Fight that which would destroy your protector. Don't fight your protector.

Regardless of Mona Eltahawy's western appearing assimilation - as sound as her arguments may be to western liberty loving ears, I won't trust her as long as she identifies herself as a believer in Islam. There is no redeeming value in Islam. Both Elahawy and Ramadan are pissing in the rain - a distraction for fools.

Anonymous,
Tariq Ramadan is not pissing in the rain.

He is an outright Jihadist Muslim, you know, "an extremist".

Mona Eltawahy is, likely, not a Jihadist. She is certainly for equality between male and female Muslims. I believe she is probably for equality between all people, however, she did not explicitly state that, did she?

Bush admin banned Tariq Ramadan from entering the US. Obama (and Clinton) have allowed him entry.

Yes, isn't that interesting.

Most people who deal with the subject of Islam seriously, know that Ramadan is NOT a "moderate".

Like, for instance, I don't have to tell you that his father was the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood.

His words, properly understood, are a thin veneer over an extreme form of Jihad and Sharia (which are one and the same).

The Ground Zero Mosque Imam Feisal Rauf is the same kind of character, in my opinion.

And, that being said, he ought also be banned from being in the United States, just as Ramadan was.

Hi Anonymous,
Is Daniela Santanche with Lega Nord?

Hi Pastorious,

I only know that she has her own group:

I just looked up some info on her. Apparently, she is not with Lega Nord.

She is a pretty impressive person, from what I can tell.
