DEMANDS for a ban on “un-Islamic” activities in schools will be set out by the Muslim Council of Britain today. Targets include playground games, swimming lessons, school plays, parents’ evenings and even vaccinations.

And the calls for all children to be taught in Taliban-style conditions will be launched with the help of a senior Government education adviser. Professor Tim Brighouse, chief adviser to London schools, was due to attend the event at the capital’s biggest mosque. His presence there was seen as “deeply worrying”, and a sign that the report was backed by the Government. Tory MP Greg Hands said: “The MCB needs to realise it has to move closer to the rest of the community, not away from it. “The presence of Tim Brighouse implies Government backing of this report. Yesterday a relative of one of the 39 others said: “Staff have got to go along with it – or let’s face it, they would be branded racist. “Who would put their job on the line? They have been told they have to embrace the day to show their diversity. But they are not all happy.” The day aims to belatedly mark Eid, the end of Ramadan. Sally Bloomer, head of Rufford primary school in Lye, West Midlands, insisted: “I have not heard of any complaints. “It’s all part of a diversity project to promote multi-culturalism.”



Judge allows public school to teach about Islam

"Parents who sued the Byron Union School District said students were required to participate in role-playing. It included wearing Muslim clothing, saying Islamic prayers and giving up candy for a day to demonstrate the principle of daytime fasting during Ramadan.
"Critics said the lessons crossed the line between instruction and indoctrination.
School officials said parents were given the option of not having their children participate.
"Federal Judge Phyllis Hamilton found that there was no evidence that students were doing activities with devotional or religious intent.

What the hell is wrong with the West. You know what happens in America happens here the day after and the latest piece of multicultural madness news has just arrived. Insulting the females of our species, only boys were allowed to serve the food and do the Arabic dancing as in that disgusting Cult, females are not allowed to participate in these kinds of public events.

Dressed in traditional Arabic wear—long plaid kilts, white shirts and turbans—the boys offered food and entertained guests. The Arabic dancers enthusiastically performed to music and encouraged male visitors to join their dance. Meanwhile, the girls were practicing for their future under Islam by wearing the hijab and veils. I wonder if they taught the children that the veils were to cover the bruises given to Moslem women by their deranged boy loving menfolk? Prayer mats were provided and compasses supplied to visitors so they tcould practice finding the direction of the Muslim magic rock in Mecca.


Pupils told to think like a suicide bomber
Children are being encouraged to imagine they are suicide bombers plotting the July 7 attacks as part of the Government's strategy to combat violent extremism.

The exercise is part of a teaching pack aimed at secondary school pupils that has been adopted by the Department for Children, Schools and Families. It requires children to prepare a presentation on the July 7 atrocity – in which 52 innocent people died – "from the perspective of the bombers".

They are asked to summarise the reasons why they thought the bombers wanted to carry out their attacks and even suggest some more. It has been produced by Calderdale council in Halifax, West Yorks, which borders the area where two of the July 7 bombers lived, and has been adopted by schools and even police forces across the country. The pack, which is called "Things do Change", is intended as a way of addressing issues such as terrorism and suicide bombing through the national curriculum.

Islamic supremacists have successfully positioned themselves in a consulting role for several of the largest publishers of middle school textbooks in the USA in such a way that these Muslims decide what is said in American textbooks about Islam.

Digging further, the authors discovered that what the textbooks say about Islam is blatantly biased propaganda.

Does it matter what middle school kids read about Islam? Think about this: By the time those students become voting adults, they will have a positive feeling about Islam, and that positive feeling will seem to rest on very solid ground to them. What they can remember about Islam was, after all, in their textbooks. You can't get much more authoritative and mainstream than that.



Islamic plagiarism destined for our schools
An educational foundation in the UK has announced plans to distribute to high schools a free book that highlights the scientific and cultural legacies of Muslim civilization. Just when are the propaganda merchants of the Islamic world going to stop this ridiculous claim that Islam actually discovered most of the great leaps forward that have happened throughout history?

They are at it again , this time its an organization called "the Foundation for Science Technology and Civilization (FSTC), a Manchester-based organization set up to raise awareness of the contributions of the Muslim world to modern civilization.

This organization actually states
"The period between the 7th and 17th centuries - which has been erroneously labeled 'the Dark Ages' - was in fact a time of exceptional scientific and cultural advancement in China, India and the Arab world," Prof. Salim Al-Hassani, chief editor of the book, said.

This organization is sending out a DVD to schools plus an information pack to be used in tutorials. Well, considering that they cannot even get the time span of the Dark Ages correct is not what I would call an encouraging start.



American Textbook Council: Islam being whitewashed in American school books
'What is frustrating is that repeatedly the textbook publishers have been called on their bias on the sunny, doctored view of Islam' but have refused to balance their books." Why? Simple: "publishers are afraid of the Islamist activists. They don't want trouble."

An education expert is warning that some American textbooks present a biased view of Islam and offer a sugarcoated picture of Islamic extremism, a trend that has parents worried about what's being taught in public schools.

In numerous history textbooks, "key subjects like jihad, Islamic law, the status of women are whitewashed," said Gilbert T. Sewall, director of the American Textbook Council, an independent group that reviews history books and other education materials.


How Textbooks Become "Islamicized"
The Council presents itself as a mainstream Muslim organization connected with the education establishment as Islam's liaison with U.S. public schools and textbook publishers. This role it seems to have assumed for itself. It is not a recognized tax-exempt organization and appears to be funded by Islamic donors and possibly foreign support. It is in fact a political advocacy organization.

Its' founder/director, Shabbir Mansun, boasts that he is waging a "bloodless revolution" promoting cultures and faiths in America's Classrooms. One might guess, whose culture and faith? The CIE has warned scholars and public officials who do not sympathize with its requests that they will be perceived as racists, reactionaries and enemies of Islam.


TWO ENGLISH SCHOOLBOYS PUNISHED FOR NOT KNEELING & PRAYING TO ALLAH
"Two schoolboys were given detention after refusing to kneel down and 'pray to Allah' during a religious education lesson.Parents were outraged that the two boys from year seven (11 to 12-year-olds) were punished for not wanting to take part in the practical demonstration of how Allah is worshipped.They said forcing their children to take part in the exercise at Alsager High School, near Stoke-on-Trent - which included wearing Muslim headgear - was a breach of their human rights."


Enforced observance of Ramadan
Non-Muslim girls at Whalley Range High School for Girls have been pressured into observing Ramadan by fasting from dawn to dusk. According to the Manchester Evening News, around 30 non-Muslim pupils took part. They had to wake up to have breakfast by 5.00am and were not allowed to eat or drink until 7.30pm.

This unprecedented outrage took place on the 27th day of Ramadan, significant for Muslims as they believe it marks the day when the Koran was revealed to their “prophet” Mohammed and is considered the most important day of the fasting month. Tellingly, teachers also participated in the charade and all students and staff wore a ‘27’ badge and will apparently be “awarded a certificate” for their self-abasement. Deputy head teacher Bob Berry said, “It’s a way for the people involved to take on a Muslim way of life for one day and for them to find out a lot from each other. There were whole teaching departments including the teachers who took part, it was a fantastic project, and a great success.”

AUSTRALIAN universities are responsible for providing quality education, not consecrated religious spaces, according to a university involved in a bitter dispute over Muslim prayer rooms. Dozens of Islamic students plan to protest today to demand that a dedicated Muslim prayer room replace an existing multi-faith centre at Melbourne's RMIT. But acting pro vice-chancellor Maddy McMaster said it was not for universities to provide consecrated religious spaces.

At a meeting in Queensborough Community College in New York in March 2003, a guest speaker named Faheed declared, "We reject the U.N., reject America, reject all law and order. Don't lobby Congress or protest because we don't recognize Congress. During an October 2000 anti-Israeli protest, former MSA president Ahmed Shama at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) stood before the Israeli consulate in Los Angeles, shouting "Victory to Islam! Death to the Jews!"



Cambridge Students to be disciplined for publishing Mohammed Cartoon
While the French establishment was leaping to the defence of Charlie Hebdo, the authorities at Clare College were considering taking disciplinary action against students who published one of the Mohammed cartoons in the college magazine. The magazine, Clareification, had been renamed Crucification for a special issue on religious satire.

According to the local paper, the student who wrote the piece containing the cartoon is in hiding and the college chaplain has met leaders of Cambridge University's Islamic society and local Imams in an attempt to reduce racial tension. 

This may just be a precaution but the college clearly has some concern that the cartoon might provoke a violent response from Muslims at the university or in the town. Even so, most of the authorities' wrath has been directed at the students who produced the magazine. Clare College fellows have called for a Court of Discipline to be convened, something which has not happened for many years. Officials of the college, the students union and Cambridge University have queued up to condemn the publication of the cartoon. More hereand here 



Oxford University To Become a "Jew-Free Zone"?

Jewish students at Oxford University have accused it of appearing to “appease” organisers of a sit-in at the university library last month in protest at Israel’s actions in Gaza. The incident is also said to have disturbed some Jewish academics. One University Reader reportedly told a meeting that “within five years, Oxford will be a Jew-free zone”. In an official reaction to the protest, the Senior Proctor of the university, Professor Donald Fraser, who oversees disciplinary matters, recommended “a relatively lenient course of action” against the demonstrators. He also agreed to take up several of their concerns, including writing to Balliol College, “drawing attention to the protestors’ concerns about the title of the lecture series inaugurated by Shimon Peres”.
