After reviewing this list, can you supply a reason for the large discrepancy between the Arab/Islamic population's contribution to the world body and that of the Jew? There are 165 Jews listed as opposed to 6 from the Arab side.'Nuff said.

Interesting point . . .the only Muslim Nobel Science winner for Physics in 1979 (date was not posted on linked list), Abdus Salam was a devout Muslim, BUT as a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The Ahmadiyyas are perpetually persecuted and subject to systematic oppression in Pakistan, Bangledesh and other nations as they have been defined as heretics and non-Muslim .

This is what so pissed me off about the Rick Salchicha story. Even if Jews have been successful in the media or science or bob sledding, ... no one freaking gave them anything. What a people.
This discrepancy simply reflects the inherent cultural bias of the Nobel Committee. They fail to recognize the value to the world of suicide bombers, airplane hijacking, beheadings, honor killing - all developed and refined by Islamic nations.
Ebadi is a persian who won the peace prize for standing UP to the mullahs .. and they came and STOLE IT FROM HER
Ahmed Zewail is an AMERICAN, who works at the Linus Pauling Institute of CALTECH
Abdus Salam is the real deal, but he worked in their nuclear weapons program.
This is because the Jews are concerned about life and the betterment of mankind. muslims are concerned about death and destruction. You don't have to be too smart to destroy and kill and it takes little effort to destroy what took months/years to build.
It's because Ashkenazi Jews have an average IQ in the range of 110-115, while Middle Eastern Muslims have an average IQ of about 80-85.
Nature makes them dumb, Islam makes them evil.

This is one of those false chain letters that's been circulating. It left off a great many Muslims. What about Muhammad Yunus? Orhan Pamuk? (2006) Mohamed ElBaradei? Ahmed H. Zewail? etc.
If you look carefully at the list of prize winners at http://nobelprize.org you'll note that they only gave it to Europeans until quite recently. So wondering why Muslims are left isn't quite fair, since I don't see Asians on that list until around the 1990s. What about Indians?
