But they are. Had the NRSC and people like Rove and Krauthammer thrown their considerable weight behind these people when they won their primaries they would not be in such difficult races. Either that or at least kept their fucking mouths shut.
But what things like this continue to show us is there is really very little daylight between the official parties. Sure they'll tell us they want to change things again, but will they? Or is their primary goal and mission simply to get elected? Simply to either take or hold power?
Because that is not in the interest of The American People or America herself. That is their own self serving interest.
So I say don't support the party, support the candidate, with time or treasure. Fuck the parties.
Neither of them deserve the clout they have.
Not in America.
The NRSC is officially an anachronism
The National Republican Senatorial Committee lost its way long ago. Its leader John Cornyn, admirable in many respects, appears to have lost his bearings. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, likewise, has a broken rudder.
Consider: despite the tens of millions of grassroots voices begging for adherence to the Constitution, the NRSC missed the memo.
The American people are rising up. They are rebelling against the counter-revolution which is destroying the foundations of our country.
The Tea Party movement is converting Democrats and independents into advocates for limited, fiscally responsible government. It has supercharged the Republican Party by spurning the unprincipled false moderation of "going along to get along".
Yet in spite of this tidal wave, the NRSC supported the abysmal Charlie Crist. The pathetic Mike Castle. The egregious Lisa Murkowski. In race after race, the NRSC backed the wrong horse. The weak horse.
And what did those horses do after their ignominious defeats? Instead of exhibiting class, they turned tail from the GOP and -- essentially -- transformed themselves into weak-kneed Marxist Democrats.
That's the NRSC's wisdom in a nutshell.
Don't give a dime to the NRSC. Instead, please contribute directly to the candidates that desperately need your support in these, the waning days of the most important election of your lifetime.

Drop a few bucks on 'em.
How great would it be to wake up the day after election day and hear that a bevy of Constitutional conservatives are joining Jim DeMint in the Senate.
How great would that be?
Oh, and Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn: I'm not sure you can get with the program.
Prove me wrong. And, if you can't grok the oh-so-hard agenda of limited, Constitutional government, we're going to primary your asses in 2014.
Oh, and that's not a promise. That's as certain as gravity.
The EDL in Leicester from HOPE not hate on Vimeo.
In the following section, Malatesta makes a lot of unqualified statements. Some of these things I know to be true. Most of the top leadership of the EDL are former members of the BNP. I was not aware of connection to Combat 18, however.
(It would be nice if people like Malatesta would actually document their statements with links to source material which would prove their case. I would like to close the case on this.)
The continued denial of the EDL’s Nazi membership is hollow and completely unbelievable. The documentation of known fascist connections increases daily. The following is a list of BNP and Nazi connected members, courtesy of UK Fightback.
Leader Tommy Robinson aka Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, former BNP member.
EDL website was set-up by BNP activist Chris Renton.
EDL co-founder Paul Ray described Chris Renton as “de-facto Commander of the EDL.” Paul Ray says he’s been ostracized from the EDL for opposing Chris Renton linking with Combat 18 (C18).
EDL organizers Steven White and Luke Pippen are Combat 18 activists.
C18 activist Bryan Powell is an official BNP steward.
EDL Facebook + You Tube chat shows hundreds of EDL support racists like the BNP, NF, Blood and Honour, BFF, C18 and KKK.
EDL Wayne Baldwin has been pictured in a Swastika T-shirt.
EDL supporter Earl Turner has been shown wearing a British Freedom Fighters t-shirt
The Welsh Defence League is riddled with Nazis.
Scottish press famously revealed that dual membership of Scottish BNP and Scottish Defence League is almost 100%.
2nd in command Kevin Carroll nominated a BNP candidate for election, but claims he was tricked into doing this and claims he can’t be racist because he says he has a mixed-race daughter.
WDL finally ostracised Swansea C18 for refusing to stop making Nazi salutes on demos but Jeff Marsh is still happy to work with the known C18 members with whom he currently runs the WDL.
Luke Pippen Swansea C18 member runs the Casuals United Blog with EDL Wales / WDL founder Jeff Marsh.
Steven White, Jeff Marsh’s assistant has a Swastika tattoo on his chest and was pictured holding British Freedom Fighters t-shirt.
So, clearly a non-racist organisation. In case you don’t know: Combat 18 are an ageing Nazi organisation who had its day back in the 90s when it dissolved into infighting and murder. Several members of the British Freedom Fighters (BFF) were recently jailed over internet racism and bomb charges. Blood & Honour is a racist white noise music organisation started by dead Nazi Ian Stewart Donaldson. The National Front (NF) are a long established fascist party who are currently benefitting from the implosion of the BNP. The mass of data, photographs and videos of the EDL seig-heiling and generally being drunken buffoons makes their claim of being peaceful and non-racist sound very foolish but again, this is yet another example of their political naivety. On openly Nazi forums like VNNuk posters admit their enthusiasm for the EDL:
‘A friend of mine went with a dozen of his mates … the EDL battered fuck out of The Ethnics. He said he never saw any ethnics with the EDL and him and the 2 or 3 thousand there couldn’t give a fuck about Israel or Zionism and all they care about is beating up ethnics and Muslims in particular.’
‘Fuck all those who shout Zionist sympathisers and all the rest of it. For the vast majority it just isn’t about this…..it’s about making a stand against an aggressive invader who has seriously abused the indigenous people of these Isles.’
The evidence of the English Defence League’s connections with fascist and Nazi organisations is now undeniable. But of course this will not stop them denying it.
U.S. was told of American's ties to Pakistani militants
The FBI apparently didn't learn a damn thing after September 11th! Don't they understand that a wife will stick with her husband, lie for her husband? But, if that husband decides to fuck up, he's fucked!!
Hello, wake up American. Our federal agencies are NOT protecting us as well as we think. They have more important things to do, obviously. You know, like making sure they bust pot smoking old ladies in CA.
This is bullshit.

Three years before Pakistani terrorists struck Mumbai in November 2008, federal agents in New York City investigated a tip that an American businessman was training in Pakistan with the group that later executed the attack.
The previously undisclosed allegations against David Coleman Headley, who became a key figure in the plot that killed 166 people, came from his wife after a domestic dispute that resulted in his arrest in 2005.
In three interviews with federal agents, Headley's wife said that he was an active militant in the terrorist group Lashkar-i-Taiba, had trained extensively in its Pakistani camps, and had shopped for night-vision goggles and other equipment, according to officials and sources close to the case. The wife, whom ProPublica is not identifying to protect her safety, also told agents that Headley had bragged of working as a paid U.S. informant while he trained with the terrorists in Pakistan, according to a person close to the case.
Federal officials say the FBI "looked into" the tip, but they declined to say what, if any, action was taken. Headley was jailed briefly in New York on charges of domestic assault but was not prosecuted. He wasn't arrested until 11 months after the Mumbai attack, when British intelligence alerted U.S. authorities that he was in contact with al-Qaeda in Europe.
In the four years between the wife's warning and Headley's capture, Lashkar sent him on reconnaissance missions around the world. On five trips to Mumbai, he scouted targets for the attack, using his U.S. passport and cover as a businessman to circulate freely in areas frequented by Westerners. He also met in Pakistan with terrorist handlers.
In March, Headley pleaded guilty to charges of terrorism in the Mumbai attacks and to a failed plot to take and behead hostages at a Danish newspaper. He is cooperating with authorities.
It is not clear from the available information whether a different response to the tip about Headley might have averted the Mumbai attacks. It is known that U.S. anti-terrorism officials warned Indian counterparts several times in 2008 about a possible attack on Mumbai, according to U.S. and Indian officials.
Former DEA informant
The handling of Headley's case calls into question the progress of U.S. law enforcement and intelligence agencies in improving their coordination and the ability to "connect the dots" and deter attacks. It also raises questions about a complicated relationship between U.S. authorities and a confessed terrorist.
Court records and interviews show that Headley served as an informant for the Drug Enforcement Administration, starting in the late 1990s. But a former senior U.S. law enforcement official said Headley's work as an informant ended before the Mumbai attacks in 2008. He could not say whether Headley worked for the drug agency during the years when he was helping to plan the attack.
"Headley was closed as an informant because he wasn't producing anything," the former senior official said. He said he thought Headley's relationship with the DEA ended "years" before Mumbai, but he did not have more precise information.
Federal officials refused to discuss the 2005 tip, other than to confirm that the FBI conducted an inquiry into the allegations made by Headley's wife.
FBI officials said they could not comment on the agency's role in the case because of ongoing prosecutions in Chicago and overseas. A DEA spokesman declined to comment because of a policy against discussing informants. New York police officials confirmed the details of the arrest in the assault case, but they declined to discuss the terrorism inquiry.
Did someone say NATO and Turkey in the same sentence? Another compass reading for morons in the US GOVT
China, Turkey elevate defense, energy ties to 'strategic cooperation'ANKARA -- China and Turkey have signed several agreements that officials deemed as strategic cooperation in such areas as defense, energy and trade.
"We have agreed to raise our relationship to the level of strategic cooperation," Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said. The agreements were signed on Oct 8 in Ankara during the visit by Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao.

The visit took place after the first Chinese participation in the Turkish-hosted Anatolian Eagle combat air exercise, usually reserved for NATO allies.
Ankara and Beijing have agreed to increase trade to $50 billion a year, or triple the current level, by 2015. The trade would include joint defense and energy projects as well as investments.
Officials said China and Turkey would cooperate in counter-insurgency and other security efforts (can anyone say uighurs?).
"We have decided bilaterally to establish a strategic partnership in our relations," Wen, the first Chinese prime minister to visit Turkey since 2002, said.
Wen said Ankara and Beijing would establish what he termed a joint panel meant to battle insurgency.
Turkey has in years past been accused of serving as a source of funding for China's separatist Muslim minority.
The eight agreements included efforts to expand cooperation in energy, transport and communications. They included memorandum of understandings on technology and maritime cooperation.
How is it possible, given the new cooperation with Iran and now this, to come to any conclusion other than WHAT IS OBVIOUS? What internal mental subterfuges will we see for the moronic delusional fantasists to FOOL THEMSELVES into believing it's all okay and just another day?
See you at Williams and Conolly ... I'll have it rare, old man

Sudan: Cardinal unharmed after failed assassination at Mass
Cardinal Gabriel Zubeir Wako during an Oct. 10 Mass celebrating the feast of St. Daniel Comboni. The knife-wielding suspect had reportedly tried to blend in with liturgical dancers.Source.
Cardinal Wako, who is the Archbishop of Khartoum, was leading the Mass at the Comboni Playground in the capital city when Hamdan Mohamed Abdurrahman, a Misseriya Arab from Southern Kordofan state, infiltrated the crowd.
The man disguised himself and joined the liturgical dancers at the crowded stage where the altar had been set up, the Catholic Information Service of Africa (CISA) reports. He proceeded up to the stage amid the dancers and pretended to dance while waving a dagger.
The assassin was within four steps of the stage when Master of Ceremonies Barnaba Matuec Anei, seated next to the cardinal, spotted him. Matuec caught and disarmed the man before handing him over to the security guards.
Matuec told CISA that Hamdan might have infiltrated the area early enough to hide himself among the faithful. There was “very intense” security at the gates.
“We want to find out what was his mission in the Church was, and why he did carry a dagger with him. After that, we will see what to do next. We must know his background and identity. If he has people backing him to carry out such actions in the church, we would like to know,” he added.
Back in 2005, he stated:

Indiana: Elementary Schoolchildren Told to Write Story as if They Were Making Hajj to Mecca… Shockingly, Parents Have a Problem With This
From Weasel Zippers:
MARTINSVILLE, Ind. — Some parents of a Morgan County elementary school said they are outraged by an assignment that asks students to write about their experience on a Hajj.
A Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca and is one of the pillars of the Islamic faith.
Seventh-graders at Martinsville East Middle School were asked to write at least 125 words “as though you are on the journey to Mecca and are writing in your journal about what you see and experience,” 6News’ Joanna Massee reported.
“I feel strongly that if the same assignment was given from a Christian standpoint, whether it was your experience at the Passover or if you were there when Christ was crucified or anything like that, the ACLU or any other organization like that would be up in arms,” said Ron Fletcher, a parent of one of the students.

FBI: Source Lied About Terror Threat
By Mike Levine
Published October 15, 2010 FoxNews.com
Federal authorities said Friday that intelligence they obtained about a possible threat to the U.S. homeland from Pakistan was based on a source who had lied to them the whole time. The development comes one day after Fox News reported that the U.S. government had obtained information indicating the group that orchestrated the failed Times Square bombing may be looking to strike again.
The FBI said Friday it was charging Syed Omair Ali with “knowingly and willfully” making false statements to federal investigators.
Since May, Ali has been providing information to the FBI concerning “several individuals” who “were planning to commit a terrorist attack in the United States,” including an individual he said “has ties with the tribal guys back in Karachi-Pakistan” and “has been planning on hurting our motherland,” according to FBI documents.
He said the individuals had decided to attack Times Square because it would likely inflict the most casualties, according to the documents.
The information provided to Fox News is not identical to the information cited in the Ali case, but it is very similar.
As reported Thursday, sources told Fox News that recent intelligence indicated the Pakistani Taliban, also known as Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan, was looking to launch another Times Square-style attack in the United States and may have successfully placed another operative inside the United States. A senior intelligence official said the operative would have come from Pakistan’s tribal regions. But sources also said authorities were concerned because they knew little about the potential operative or any possible plot, including a location for a possible strike.
While sources had described that information as “credible but not specific,” Fox News quoted a source on Thursday saying, "In many cases, intelligence we get ends up washing out."
Fox News was unable to determine how or when the intelligence was obtained.
Ali was interviewed most recently by the FBI on Thursday, the same day Fox News reported on the new intelligence obtained by the U.S. government.
“During the interview, Ali admitted that all of the information he had previously provided to the FBI regarding a terrorist plot had been false, and that he had deliberately misled the FBI,” said the FBI documents.
Ali said he provided false information, in part, “to get [one of the suspects] in trouble due to a personal conflict,” the FBI said.
It’s unclear what would have led Ali to make such admissions to the FBI on Thursday, the day of the Fox News report.
FBI spokesman Rich Kolko said Friday that lies like those allegedly made by Ali “take valuable time away from investigators” when they “could be following real information.”
A counterterrorism official agreed, adding that it is “wholly appropriate, responsible and required for law enforcement to run down every lead even if the vast majority of them end up being non-threats.”
“At the end of the day, you want the kind of result where you’ve appropriately reviewed the material and come to a conclusion that there [is not] a credible threat,” the official said.
Ali “will now have to answer to [his actions] in court,” Kolko said.
Faisal Shahzad, the man who tried to detonate a bomb-packed SUV in Times Square on May 1, has been sentenced to life in prison.

Geert- NOT GUILTY? Freedom of Speech in the west
Dutch News reports:
The public prosecutionon Friday afternoon stated that Geert Wilders is not guilty of discriminating against Muslims. Earlier on Friday it announced he should also be found not guilty of inciting hatred.
Birgit van Roessel and Paul Velleman reached their conclusions after a careful reading of interviews with and articles by the anti-Islam politician and a viewing of his anti-Koran film Fitna.
They said comments about banning the Koran can be discriminatory, but because Wilders wants to pursue a ban on democratic lines, there is no question of incitement to discrimination 'as laid down in law'.
On the comparison of the Koran with Mein Kampf, the prosecutors said the comparison was 'crude but that did not make it punishable'.
Dealing earlier on Friday with incitement to hatred, Van Roessel and Velleman said some comments could incite hatred against Muslims if taken out of context, but if the complete text is considered, it can be seen that Wilders is against the growing influence of Islam and not against Muslims per sé.
On Tuesday, the prosecutors said the MP should not be found guilty of group insult.
The public prosecution department was forced to take the case by the high court after anti-racism campaigners protested at its refusal to prosecute Wilders.
Good news, not just for what was once the Dutch Republic, but for liberty everywhere.
UPDATE: On PajamasMedia, Leon de Winter clarifies an oddity of the Dutch justice system:prosecutors have that Wilders be acquitted, and though it is highly improbable, it is still technically within the court's discretion to convict.
Christian Pastor Opens Church Near Ground Zero, Muslims Threaten To Kill Him
From the Metro Catholic:
ST PETERSBURG, FL (MetroCatholic) – Bill Keller, leader of the world’s largest interactive Christian website for 11 years, Liveprayer.com, has received numerous death threats from Muslims over the years for his stand that Islam is “a false religion, with a false book, and a false prophet.”
Keller, who has been in the national and international press recently for opening his “9-11 Christian Center at Ground Zero” as a response to the proposed mosque by the site of the attacks of 9/11, received a detailed call from a person stating they represent the Islamic Center of Southwest Florida in Ft. Myers. The call explicitly stated that Keller would be killed for his disrespect of “Allah” and the “Islamic religion.”
Keller is no stranger to conflict with Islam. In 2007, under pressure from the extremist Muslim group CAIR, Keller’s highly rated nightly TV program that ran for 4 1/2 years on a CBS owned station in Tampa, Florida, was cancelled by CBS because he refused to stop telling his viewers that “according to the Bible Islam is a 1400-year-old lie from hell, and that history clearly shows Mohammed was a murdering pedophile who propagated his false religion through hatred, violence, and death.”
Keller also has numerous fatwas (sentences of death) issued against him for a video he sent in 2006 to Osama Bin Laden that was played worldwide in which Keller encouraged Bin Laden to “renounce the lies of Islam” and come to faith in Jesus Christ.
Oath Keeper baby returned, social worker investigated?
While officials with Oath Keepers confirmed that there were other issues involved in the case, they were stunned to learn that the court ruling had described their organization as a militia and had referenced participation with them as an accusation.

Johnathon Irish, fiancé and
A tiny baby girl snatched from her parents'a week ago when her father was accused of being an "Oath Keeper" was returned to her parents today.
According to WNDclose to the case, the accusations against the father, Johnathon Irish, whose fiancée, Stephanie Taylor, is the mother of Cheyenne, have been dropped.
WND originally reported on the case last weekend when the state took the baby, ordering the father to stand with his hands behind his back and frisking him while social took the child. The affidavit supporting the actions cited the father's affiliation with the patriotic organization Oath Keepers.
Irish, reached today by telephone by WND, said New Hampshire state law prevents disclosure of details of family court disputes. But the WND source confirmed that the little girl had been returned to the family and there were no future court dates scheduled in the case.
Officials with the state Family Court system could not be reached by WND.
Just hours earlier a protest was held outside the court where the hearing was going on, and as WND reported, officials with Oath Keepers submitted a demand letter to the state's social services agency to remove the reference in the affidavit in the Irish case.
The organization collects affirmations from soldiers and peacethat they would refuse orders that violate the U.S. Constitution in light of what they perceive as the advance of socialism in the U.S.
Irish had told WND that an affidavit signed by Child Protective Service worker Dana Bickford seeking government custody of newborn Cheyenne a week ago said the agency "became aware and confirmed that Mr. Irish associated with a militia known as the 'Oath Keepers.'"
"This poorly conducted investigation used unsubstantiated and unsupported information regarding our organization. A journey to our website, and a reading of our bylaws, could have easily confirmed what we are and are not," said the Oath Keepers letter, delivered today to state officials.
"We are an association of currently serving and retired, military, and emergency personnel. We are not a militia. Our goal is simply to educate all current service personnel on their obligations under the law and in particular our Constitution."
WND reported earlier when the dispute erupted, including when Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes wrote on his website that the citation of his organization sends a seriously troubling message.
Details of the resolution of the case were withheld behind the curtain of Family Court restrictions. But Rhodes described it as a "fundamental point" to have government agencies condemning defendants for their political affiliations.
"Talk about chilling speech! If this is allowed to continue, it will chill the speech of not just Mr. Irish, but all Oath Keepers and it will serve as the camel [nose] under the tent for other associations being considered too risky for parents to dare," he continued. "'Don't you dare associate with such and such group, or you could be on 'the list' and then child protective services might come take your kids.'"
While Oath Keepers is not a militia, he said, it would make no difference if it was.
"A parent associating with a militia is not engaged in child endangerment and is not evidence of child endangerment," he said.
Oath Keepers' members promise not to obey any order "to disarm the American people," conduct warrantless searches, "detain American citizens as 'unlawful enemy combatants,'" work to impose martial law, invade or subjugate any state, blockade American cities, put Americans in detention camps or "make war against our own people."
Rhodes himself was a U.S. Army paratrooper injured in an parachuting accident, a former firearms instructor and a former member of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul's Washington staff.
The organization's board of directors includes Army veteran Sgt. Dave Freeman, Army veteran Capt. Chauncey Normandin, Navy veteran Capt. Gregory Gooch, Celia S. Hyde of the International Association of Chiefs ofPolice, all retired.
Others are Marines, members of the Air Force, local law enforcement and even of the U.S. Army Special Forces.
The demand letter apparently was addressed by the court's action, although Rhodes said he'd been given no direct response to the concerns. It said, "As police officers, we have been called all manner of vile names by criminal suspects, but nothing compares to the offensive assertion that to associate with us and our military counterparts is child endangerment. We respectfully request that any reference to Oath Keepers be removed from your affidavit by whatever mechanism New Hampshire law allows or requires."
The letter continued, "On behalf of all of the active duty and retired police and sheriff personnel within our organization, as well as our military and firefighter brothers and sisters, we demand that you remove the offensive verbiage in the affidavit filed by your investigator, Dana Bickford, which states, 'the Division became aware and confirmed that Mr. Irish associated with a militia known as the 'Oath Keepers ...''
"By so listing the political associations of a parent as a reason to take a newborn baby from her mother's arms, the affidavit politicizes child protective services. That politicization was unfortunately furthered by the judge in this case who adopted Bickford's entire affidavit as the Court's 'findings of fact' setting forth the reasons for issuing the order to take the baby."
The letter explains Oath Keepers members "have seen first-hand the heart-rending abuse that children can suffer at the hands of dysfunctional adults. It is to prevent such abuse that child protective services is given great latitude and power. Politics has no place in this process precisely because of the immense power you wield. All that should matter is the welfare of the children, not the politics of the parents. Such politicization not only hurts the families and children involved, but also chills the speech of other parents who now will worry that their political affiliations will be used as grounds for taking their children."
It was signed by Capt. Chauncey Normandin, retired, from the Lowell, Mass., police department; Sgt. David Freeman, retired, from the Las Vegas police department; Chief Celia S. Hyde, retired, of the Bolton, Mass.,police department; retired Graham County, Ariz., Sheriff Richard Mack; and almost half a dozen actively serving law enforcement officers in Texas, Pennsylvania, Utah and others.
According to the original court documents, copies of which were posted by Oath Keepers, "Mr. Irish was court ordered to attend Ending the Violence with Scott Hampton, however, to date, has not completed this program." The court affidavit continued, "The Epsom Police Department stated they were very familiar with Mr. Irish, as they have responded to multiple calls, which involved Mr. Irish and firearms, one of which resulted in a pending charge for possession of a concealed weapon without a permit.
"The division became aware and confirmed that Mr. Irish associated with a militia known as the 'Oath Keepers,' and had purchase several different types of weapons including a rifle, handgun and taser," the court documents said.

Start with two Palestinians - Dr. Martin Kramer
Image via Wikipedia
In an interview in February 2003, Edward Said said this:
So how did Columbia go so rapidly from "two Palestinians teaching in a faculty of 8,000 people!" to "a unique concentration of distinguished scholars on Palestine and the Palestinians"? Don't be shocked, but Edward Said was out to deceive in that 2003 interview. Obviously there were more than two Palestinians back then. But I didn't invent the nickname Bir Zeit-on-Hudson because of their number. It was meant to evoke precisely the atmosphere of intimidation--anti-Israel intimidation--that would later come to light in the "Columbia Unbecoming" affair.
Who Owns The Property If There Is No Note Associated With The Deed?
Beginning in the 1990s, it became fashionable to sell mortgages to other parties, and the mortgage securitization industry was born. Mortgages were sold, repackaged, and sold again, and a bewildering array of mortgage-backed securities was created to underwrite this new market. The United States mortgage business not only went national but international as investors worldwide rushed to get a piece of the lucrative American real estate sector.
The first is the moral issue of the individual's responsibility to pay off his debts. If individuals do not pay off debts they owe, our country will collapse economically.
However, the second issue, the legal issue, is even bigger (and when is the legal bigger than the moral?) If our government does not enforce the law when it comes to property, we will no longer have a free nation.
If the banks have chosen not to follow the legal procedures required to establish and maintain ownership of property, then IT IS THEIR FAULT that they would lose control of that property.
An individual would be required to follow through on the legal procedures to maintain his control of his property; he would have to fill out the necessary paperwork, and pay his mortgage and his taxes, or he would surely lose his property. Likewise, the banks must be held to the same standard, or we will collapse into lawlessness.
Thinking this through further, though, it is clear that if the banks don't own the property, NEITHER DO THE INDIVIDUALS, because the ownership agreement has not been followed through by the establishment of the proper paperwork. (It could be said, the individuals have more claim on ownership of the property then do the banks, because they were not the one's who initiated a change in ownership of the note. However, they did authorize such a sale, when they signed the mortgage papers.)
So, here's a question to ponder, and in the question lies a very heavy warning:
If neither the banks nor the individuals own the property, then who does own the property?
Do we follow the thread back to the last owner established by a deed?
Or, is the property ceded to the public good, to then be redistributed,
and, if so, by whom?
Or, is the property simply seized by the government outright, to be redistributed as the government sees fit.
Given the nature of our current administration and Congressional representatives, what do you think the solution would be?
Pakistan arrests 7 militants, foil plot to kill PM
By KHALID TANVEER (AP)
MULTAN, Pakistan — Pakistani police arrested a group of Islamist militants plotting to kill the prime minister in a gun and suicide bomb attack at his house, officials said Thursday. The seven men also are accused of targeting other government leaders for assassination.
Militants in Pakistan have frequently attacked government officials, security officers and political leaders as part of a campaign to destabilize the U.S.-allied government and take over the state. Opposition leader Benazir Bhutto was killed in a gun-and-bomb attack near Islamabad in 2007.
The conspiracy against Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani was nearly complete, police officials said.
The suspects are accused of belonging to the al-Qaida-linked group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. Their plan included monitoring Gilani's movements and storming his private residence in the central city of Multan with guns and a suicide bomber, police investigator Waris Bharwana said.
"These terrorists were arrested in a timely fashion, and surely we have averted an attack on the prime minister," he said.
Authorities did not offer any evidence to back up their allegations.
Like other top officials, Gilani does not publicize his movements ahead of time and travels with extensive security.
Abid Qadri, a regional police chief, said authorities learned about the plot during an initial interrogation of the seven militants, who were arrested late Wednesday after a shootout near a village in central Pakistan.
The militants opened fire when police tried to pull their car over for a routine check, Qadri said. Nobody was wounded in the shooting, but two men managed to escape, he said.
A judge has ordered the seven suspects be held and questioned in a prison. Their next court date is Oct. 27, Bharwana said.
Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, a banned Sunni Muslim extremist group, has been linked to the Taliban as well as al-Qaida. The group has been accused of attacking minority Shiite worship places and assaulting security forces and other targets.
Some of the suspects are believed to have taken part in an attack last year on the offices of Pakistan's main spy agency in Multan, which is in Punjab province in central Pakistan, Qadri said.
The men were also conspiring to kill Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, also a Multan native, and the minister for religious affairs, who last year survived an assassination attempt in Islamabad, Qadri said. He said the suspects also had plans to attack a dam, a bridge and military installations.
To say this could be the match to the powderkeg would not be understatement.

Ahmadinejad’s Deadly Triumph in Lebanon
Posted by Rick Moran on Oct 15th, 2010
It would have been unthinkable just a couple of years ago: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was welcomed in Lebanon on Wednesday for a visit that demonstrated just how far the Lebanese democracy has fallen and how fast the enemies of freedom have risen.
Ever since the Doha Agreement of 2008, in which Hezbollah achieved with guns what it couldn’t achieve with the ballot box, the arc of power and influence of the democratic “March 14th Alliance” has been waning. In Qatar, the Western-friendly coalition made up largely of Sunnis, Christians, and Druze reluctantly agreed to give the Hezbollah-led opposition enough cabinet ministers in government to give them veto power over the majority’s policies. In effect, the hard-won election of 2005 that had given the democrats nominal control was canceled, and the wolf was invited inside where he then proceeded to make himself at home.
Even the parliamentary elections last year that saw another victory by the March 14th coalition was eventually watered down as the “Spirit of Doha” and once again brought the Hezbollah opposition into a government partnership. The political motto of Lebanon — “No victors, no vanquished” — rings hollow today as Hezbollah has bullied and threatened its way to dominance.
There is no doubt that Hezbollah has reached the zenith of its power and influence in Lebanon. By demonstrating a willingness to press its advantages, as well as hold the specter of violence over the heads of the March 14th Alliance, the government now marches to the beat of Hezbollah’s drums. There is something pathetic in all of this if one considers the high hopes of the Lebanese people when the March 14th Alliance first took power in 2005. Since that time, compromise after compromise with the enemies of freedom have sapped the will to resist the constant pressure of Hezbollah and its Iranian masters. In the end, most of the leaders of the March 14th forces have either resigned to the inevitable or are maintaining a lower profile.
This is the backdrop of Ahmadinejad’s triumphal visit to Lebanon. With a newly confident and assertive Syria, and Lebanon’s Hezbollah in de facto control of the country, the minions of the Iranian president now present a united front against Israel and Western interests in the Levant.
Efraim Inbar, director of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies in Tel Aviv, summed up the significance of Ahmadinejad’s visit:
The important issue is that we see another step in the ‘Hezbollah-ization’ of Lebanon…Lebanon is further losing its independence and Hezbollah is taking over,Buttressing the idea that Lebanon has become a virtual client state of Iran were remarks made by Ahmadinejad during the frenetic rally held in southern Lebanon in Bint Jbeil. Hezbollah has made that little town a “symbol of the resistance,” promoting the legend of Hezbollah’s victory during the 2006 war with Israel.
with Ahmadinejad encouraging these forces and signaling to the whole Middle East
that Lebanon is becoming an Iranian protectorate.
During his speech, Ahmadinejad jumped feet first into the crisis currently roiling politics in Lebanon; the so-called “false witnesses” issue relating to the UN’s Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL). In a nutshell, the UN has been investigating the assassination in 2005 of Rafiq Hariri, former prime minister and father of current PM Said Hariri. The first report on the investigation issued in 2005 by then-prosecutor Detlev Mehlis, implicated high-level Syrian officials in the murders, including President Assad’s brother in law.
But over the years, some witnesses have recanted (they were clearly intimidated), others murdered, and the UN walked back from its initial findings of Syrian involvement. Also, four prominent Lebanese generals who had been jailed until last year, were released because of questionable eyewitness testimony. It is impossible to say at this point how much pressure was placed on key witnesses to change their testimony and whether there really were “false witnesses” in the case.
