Can you provide any help or information?

Our friend and tech guru Ed Burns has helped create a stand-alone website for my missing cousin, Marizela Perez.

You can find videos, pictures, background stories, and links at:

http://findmarizela.com/

Still working on a Paypal link for donations to help the family defray the costs of the search for Marizela. Will let you know as soon as it’s live.

UPDATE: Here it is:

I was able to spread the word at the end of my regular Fox and Friends segment this morning (watch here; get embeddable clip here) and FoxNews.com will also be writing a follow-up. (UPDATE: Here’s the new FoxNews.com story.)

And I’ll be joining my friend Tammy Bruce on the Laura Ingraham radio show this morning at 9:30am to get the word out further.

We’re blessed to have so many dear friends. Bottomless thanks again for your continued prayers, support, and volunteer efforts online and on the ground.

“In prosperity, our friends know us; in adversity, we know our friends.” -J. Churton Collins

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. –1 Corinthians 16:13

Marizela (Em-em and Mei to her family and friends), we will find you. You are so loved.

Update: The Seattle Times has the story of how Marizela may have signed on to AOL/AIM Messenger recently. It could be potentially the huge break we need to locate her. The question is whether it was Marizela who signed on or whether it was someone else who had access to the account or whether the sign-on screen is misdated or outdated. Police are investigating.

Cross your fingers, pray, keep spreading the word. Thank you.

Update 3/18: A setback this morning. Just heard from Marizela’s dad Edgar that the police have checked out the AOL/AIM lead. Here’s what he told me:

“Update from Det. Eng: Per AOL, Emem has been logged-on since March 9 using her cell phone and never logged off. She never sent out any messages either.”

We move forward. Continued prayers and support so appreciated.

Midnight Rider,

I hope she's found soon and nothing really bad has happened to her.
