Pakistan Arrests C.I.A. Informants in Bin Laden Raid

Instead of going after those who helped Osama bin Laden to live in this Abbottabad compound, Pakistan arrested those who assisted in the raid that killed him.

WASHINGTON — Pakistan’s top military spy agency has arrested some of the Pakistani informants who fed information to the Central Intelligence Agency in the months leading up to the raid that led to the death of Osama bin Laden, according to American officials.

Pastorius,

People really need to get the message, Pakistan is not our friend.

You can be sure of two things, firstly the US did not identify their agents in Pakistan and that the agents did not come out and say hurrah, we did it. This surely proves that Pakistan has an efficient espionage service and just about proves that they must have known about bin laden all along.

Very good point, Ciccio.

Reliapundit at Astute Bloggers says this is almost a declaration of war.

I think we should take it that way, and we should absolutely sever ties with Pakistan, and put them on warning that any violence emanating from their country against us or our allies will be met with violence 1000 times greater.

Pastorius,

Well, as you would imagine, Pakistan is denying this.

It's not just the idea of Pakistan is not our friend, it is that at a minimum, MINIMUM a plurality to a small majority of the Pakistani people are the enemies of the american PEOPLE.

That is HOW the ISI, Army, MMA, Taliban etc can survive and thrive. That is the ONLY way they can.

The people of Pakistan are the enemies of the people of the USA
