Yes, but I'm working around it by copying the new video ID into an existing embed code:
src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/8JthDmuDbMY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>
Replace 8JthDmuDbMY with the ID of the required video. (it wouldn't allow me to post the full embed code here)

Is this some kind of YouTube glitch or a new policy?
Just a glitch, I assume. It started a couple of hours ago. I've put the bit of code here, if my comment was a bit hard to follow:

Yes i've had probs also.
Try right clicking the vid and select 'embed' on a website instead of on You tube.I presume it's a momentary glitch since you can't add vids to your Fav eighter on you tube for the moment.
It looks like it has been fixed now :)
Yeah, that's funny. I too had a problem this morning. Thought it was just the specific video I was trying to upload.
