Reuters Poll:Budget cuts favored for reducing deficit

Cutting government programs is favored as the way to reduce the budget deficit by more than twice as many Americans as those who favor raising taxes, said a Reuters/Ipsos poll.
In a result that has held fairly steady over the past five months, the poll, released on Monday, found that 22 percent of those surveyed said that spending cuts alone were the solution, while 36 percent favored a mix of more cuts than tax increases.
In contrast, only 7 percent favored raising taxes alone, with 17 percent saying a mix with more tax increases than cuts would work best to lower the government’s $1.2 trillion deficit.
Thirteen percent said they were unsure and 5 percent said they did not know or were unsure about what should be done.
Of course, the government - you know, the guys whose increased budget this is all about, want to ensure that by using any meme, ANY MEME, like substituting the word fairness for envy, their revenue increases.
Why do they want their revenue to increase?
In the end it is for the worst imaginable, and most un-american reason of all. The same reason Nixon spent all that money to break into and then coverup the Watergate crimes.
POWER.
In america we have always been more tolerant of those who wanted power to get money (Teapot Dome). Turn that the other way around, and we become quite prickly about it all.
These people want more power to remake this nation in the way THEY DEEM APPROPRIATE, because they didn’t care for the ‘flawed’ founding documents, and the philosophical underpinning they represented.
The way you prove a thesis is you place it’s reasoning over events which occur. so bear this all in mind as this all unfolds.
Those who wish government to grow so it can do ‘good’ need that money.
It is a CORRUPTION
