"Captain Menoukian insisted that his Marines observe Ramadan customs with the Muslims so they didn't eat during the daytime either .....""The local Afghani police uniform wanted to see him (Capt. Matt Manoukian) and since he had been training Afghani police it was not an unusual request.... and they shot him" Judge Socrates Manoukian, Capt. Matt Manoukian's father.
They killed him at midnight during the Ramadan meal (the meal that Captain Menoukian insisted that his Marines observe). Despite the respect, subservience and dhimmitude displayed by the US military, they were murdered anyway. That is jihad.
The terrible irony is this:
......So was his father, who as a judge is accustomed to having the last word. But Matt deftly argued his case by bringing up his grandfather, who had nearly starved to death as a victim of the Turkish genocide of Armenians.
They escaped the Armenian genocide by the Islamic Ottoman empire. Menoukin didn't understand jihad?
Robert Spencer explained here: "Ramadan really is a time during which Muslims are exhorted to renew their religious fervor. Hence it is a time when they’re supposed to grow more generous and kind toward their fellow Muslims. However, the Qur’an says: 'Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves' (48:29). If the Ramadan imperative is to become more devout, the Muslim who applies himself diligently to the Ramadan observance will become more merciful to his fellow Muslims and more severe against the unbelievers."

I don't want to denigrate his service but in a war against Islamic forces in an ostensibly savage barbaric country it is foolish to trust Muslims even those supposedly on your side.
Our BEST-now being trained w/ PC-percepts that are getting them killed-
and our military academies are descending into the depths of PC dhimmitude (sp) as well--
