The Million Muppet March?

From Reuters:
Plans to save Big Bird, the fuzzy yellow character on U.S. public television's "Sesame Street," from possible extinction are taking shape in the form of a puppet-based protest next month dubbed the "Million Muppet March."

The demonstration is planned for November 3 at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., three days before the general election....
You can't make this shit up!

Our nation is in serious trouble on both the domestic and foreign fronts, and people are worried about saving PBS?

"Idiocracy." In case you haven't seen it, and chances are you haven't since it's pretty bad, I recommend you watch it. It shows what we'll look like in a few centuries. Not a pretty sight ... But difficult to dispute at the rate we are going ...

Charles,
I saw that film a few years ago. Damned prophetic in many ways!

Charles,
You thought Idiocracy was bad?

I thought it was genius.

But, it is irritating as all hell.

I actually felt stupider for having watched it, even though it is a great analysis of an Idiot culture.
