Yes, I have violated my own policy to avoid graphic images. Two things caused me to consider posting this image. *A print media organization chose to photo-shop injuries to make them look benign and palatable to readers. Acts of terror are committed by individuals with malignant ideologies. Malignant images should not be softened. *Is this one of the images taken by Carlos Arredondo? If so, how did it end up on a jihad portal? Has it passed from person to person? Or did "our side" post it to elicit information? Regardless, the concern for me is the "Ha ha" comment on the site. This is not a "Ha ha" moment. Sane people never laugh in the face of immense tragedy. I apologize for the horrific image. But it seems very, very important that Americans understand the true medical outcomes of explosions activated within corridors with a dense population demographic. Reading about "amputations" and "dismemberment" is one thing. Seeing it, is completely different. I contend that it is not the Time Magazine cover with a child with a blood streak on the face which is the image which shows the horrific nature of this attack. It it the image of a man with dismemberment which defines this act. This is the image. View it quickly and then let it sink into your psyche. Stop for a moment, and imagine the PTSD for the surgeons and nurses who had to receive these injuries into the operating room. Can they sleep now? I cannot sleep. Pray. Pray for our nation. Pray that the forensic evidence will lead to an arrest. Pray that when an arrest is made, we will react as Americans: with fortitude, patience, and the wisdom to examine the situation with clarity. Fall on your knees. Pray for the families involved. Now that you have viewed the image, put a guard on your own heart. Evil exists. We have seen it in full. We reject it. Tammy Swofford

The dead eight year old boy, his sister's leg blow off, are also seared into my imagination. I agree wholeheartedly with this post. We have been shielded/protected from the most graphic images of 9/11, never being privvy to the images from the belly of the USS Cole, or any number of endless carnage resulting from Islamic jihad for too long. It's time to force the opposition to face some very discomforting facts.
the term islamaphobic is meant to shame people and hang the letter B for bigot on thier chest. in order to keep people from critical thinking about islam and immigration from muslim countries.
I look at this picture and I know without a doubt my distrust of islam and its practitioners is justified, I beleive I am not required to extend the benefit of the doubt, instead it is the muslim which must prove to me, re-asure me, he is to be trusted.
only in one religion on the planet does bcoming more religious not less mean more danger more murder and more killing.
if a baptist in name only becomes more devout I have no worries he's going to attack me.

First person to be arrested is Hussein Obama A closet Muslim outwardly but his heart is as evil as it can be as any al-Qaida member. He hates America and is relentlessly working to destroy our Great Republic. Surmount unsustainable debt , abolish Constitution, change our demographics these are just the few of the endless list of his criminal acts againt America. And now the Tsarnayev brothers the perpetrators of the horrible act effects of which are vividly captured on your picture. They were employed by US government and i reckon very well paid. This scandal should bring the entire Obama administration down and place them before special non-partisan tribunal . They are traitors.
