Oh, and that group? 44% were republican. The majority of Americans who think armed revolt might be needed are NOT republicans. 47% think such a revolt will not be necessary.
WHAT?
Okay that trips my breakers.
- A revolt by 29% will be put down like you won’t believe, and cannot be anything but a bloody civil war. Think Sarajevo x 100.
- Numbers which would make such a revolt successful, would also win without such a revolt
- If this poll is accurate more people are upset at the way America is, than were upset at the outset of the civil rights movement
Never mind that Obama’s PLANS to create a more equal results system has failed (the rich STILL increase the gap between them and the middle class, actually the POLITICAL class is who is increasing that gap …), the size of the group which believes violence will be COMPULSORY to change things means a larger group of Americans than fought for EQUAL OPPORTUNITY, believes govt mandated EQUAL OUTCOME is a reason for violent revolt.
Let’s get something straight … throw away party labels ..the people who are vested in protecting the current manner of doing things are those who benefit from govt funding of specific corporations, academics seeking grants the govt blesses as politically beneficial, and institutions TBTF.
These people are easily identified.
They move back and forth from govt, to academia to huge business writing papers on why the current way of doing things is good, blessing those papers from academia while in power, and then accepting the benefits of those papers at huge corporations, or start-ups with guaranteed public funds.

This is NOT about party.
The survey asked whether respondents agreed, disagreed, neither agreed nor disagreed or did not know or refused to respond to the statement: “In the next few years, an armed revolution might be necessary in order to protect our liberties”

Does even 29% have the guts to revolt?
Talk is cheap, you know.
NO WAY.
To me the significance of that number is the state of the populace.
We are TOTALLY divided.
What went on in 1968-69 over Vietnam was NOTHING compared to this. What % was behind the weathermen?
But those are the people whose influence has brought us to this point in their long march through the institutions.
American as a nation is in grave danger.
America as a social justice system as those people see it, is nothing but a goop melange of unworkable, contradictory and unsustainable platitudes built on the dreams of a conflation of Marx and Lennon. Yes, that Lennon
Looking at the breakdown it appears to me, that unless the Democrats included are on the same wavelength as the Republicans, you have a mini civil war brewing.
Any chance those 29% are actually of the same belief and are thinking in sink?
These are not the teeming masses who are angry. These are not the young, dumb, and full of cum. These are not the political idealogues who are angry.
These are the every day people, who were raised to believe in a Constitution, in a Declaration, and in an America which from all appearance, no longer exists, an America which stolen out from underneath them, a right and a tax at a time.
These are the people who are angry. Their anger is not white hot. It is not bloodthirsty, and it is not subject to the whims of crazed leaders.
The anger of these Americans is steely and full of resolve. It is righteous and based on Truth. It is real and it is real dangerous to those whom it is directed.
