This could be a Probing Attack by a Jihadist, attempting to see what the security response would be.

I read about this last night. Considered posting it. I think it is worth posting.
However, from what I can tell, if this is somehow Jihad/Terror-related, then it is only a PROBING ATTACK.
which is, obviously, bad enough. and that is why it is worth posting.
Oddly, there have ben three serious train derailments in the last week or two as well.
