Why Would Obama Leak PRISM?

HERE'S ANOTHER WAY OF LOOKING AT THE PRISM LEAK.

If anyone were to leak a super-secret American technology (one we've been using for years) it would be a traitor, right? You know, someone who did not want America using said technology and gaining the advantages thereof?

Instead, the Obama Administration leaked the super-secret American technology.

Put two and two together.

Obama has leaked the technology and now blames Bush for PRISM.

US intelligence chief denounces info 'leak'...

DEM TALKING POINT: IT'S BUSH'S FAULT!

These are the actions of a traitor:

He wants to

weaken the US,

strengthen our enemies,

take away our will and means to fight out enemies,

weaken alliances with strong nations who share our interests,

strengthen our alliances with weak nations who do not share our interests,

decrease our military spending,

decrease our nuclear capability,

and decrease our ability to do surveillance on those who might attack us from within.

It all fits a pattern, doesn't it?

Here's a bit of satire I wrote (making fun of the Leftist perspective) on this subject back in 2004.

Holy sh*t Pasto you've come a long way...you used to address people as "Dear"...

LOL that blog's hilarious. You should have a blog like that to screw with liberals and Muslims.

On this post though, you have spineless Republicans pretending to be against all that Obama's doing, you have a no balls SCOTUS that bows to everything Obama wants and you have Dems who blame Bush for everything Obama does....and then you have half the populace that doesn't give a sh*t.

Obama and his cronies are playing a game where the end goal is destruction of America as a super power. I'd say they've been pretty successful so far...and while they play that game, the Repubs pretend to be all baffled by it.

Note:

Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, the Republican author of the Patriot Act, sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder that says he is “extremely disturbed” by reports that the National Security Agency collected phone records from Verizon customers and insists it violates the law....

Nico,
The point of that blog was to screw with Liberals.

Here's the first post from the blog, right after Bush got re-elected.

AOW, to be clear, I'm not quite sure which side I come down on here. But I must admit, I've always thought the government did this kind of shit anyway. Didn't you?

Yeah I figured. I was saying you should continue with something like that.

It was pretty fun at first, but it got old quick.

Didn't Epa have something like this too, Tooheyville or something like that?

I had no problem with the Patriot Act, per se. But, that was because it was suppose to used against foreigners only.

This sounds to me like it is going way too far.

And I do not like to hear our government say "trust me".

Especially not after everything we have discovered.

Christine, have you always been against ECHELON? Or had you not heard about it?

Or, did you just not believe in it?

And besides, why should I do a parody blog anymore, when the Ace of Spades commenters are doing it so well:

I will make sure that all conservatives will be shot, and all their assets confiscated. And give their money to you my loyal supporters.

Let me be clear. Some say X, and others say Y. I say Z. I am outraged. But I did not have sex with your smartphone.

Much.

Pasto,
Michelle Malkin has an interesting comparison of surveillance as conducted by GWB and surveillance conducted by BHO. Brief excerpt from a lengthy piece:

...Here is another key difference between the Bush and Obama administration programs.

Bush was fully engaged and committed to the war on terror when the NSA programs were first exposed in 2005, four short years after the bloody 9/11 attacks.

Obama, by contrast, immediately rejected the war on terror for “workplace violence”/”overseas contingency operations” euphemisms and officially declared last week that America’s war on terror is over.

Which makes you wonder:

What exactly prompted the Obama FBI to seek the sweeping FISA order on April 25? And why does it extend through July 19?

If it was related to the April 15 Boston terror bombing, how could Obama then stand up at National Defense University on May 23 and so publicly throw in the towel on combating Islamic jihad?

And if the catalyst for the FISA court order wasn’t the Boston bombing, then why so sweeping and so secretive? If not for the Guardian-published leak, which I must note I find as troubling now as I did during the Bush years, the document would not have been declassified until April 12, 2038.

Another fundamental difference between then and now: While Bush-bashers raised the specter of political spying abuses when the post-9/11 NSA program was exposed, there was never a shred of evidence that such abuses ever took place....

Ends on July 19th?

Curiouser and curiouser.

Pastorius,

I may have heard about ECHELON before this, but I guess I didn't pay it much attention.

I was fully aware of the Patriot Act though.

Please explain ECHELON.

Prism = Echelon for the USA. Except SQUARED.

People who think this is ok are MISSING THE POINT.
I mean it's not as if if you bought a Gadsden flag from amazon the govt would use that to look at your metadata from your cell phone and landline to see who you call and how often, and if those cells all ping off the same tower the night of tea party meetings or anything and them send the IRS to your house or anything.
The govt is looking for terrorists. They don't care about people who by their belief in small govt might end up taking their jobs away or anything.
The NSA and FBI and IRS are our friends and support freedom and the bill of rights. Isn't that what Obama sez?
We should reject people who worry the govt might do anything like that.
There is nothing to worry about.
