French court slaps Israel in the face by convicting Karsenty

The court that took up the latest suit in the Karsenty-vs-Enderlin rivalry has turned dhimmi:
A French media analyst was convicted Wednesday of defamation for accusing a state television network of staging a video that depicted a young boy being killed in a firefight between Palestinian gunmen and Israeli soldiers. [...]

A Paris court fined Philippe Karsenty 7,000 euros (NIS 33,000) in the defamation case filed by network France 2. Karsenty accused the network’s Jerusalem bureau chief, Charles Enderlin, of fabricating parts of the segment. [...]

Karsenty called the verdict “outrageous.” A lawyer for France 2 said it was a victory for journalists.
More like it was a vindictive act against Israel influenced by the French left because Israel dared to call a spade a spade. Now I hope Karsenty will appeal this verdict. In any case, Enderlin is clutching at straws, and his continued persecution of Karsenty at this point is only proving him an extremely dishonest man.

I hope that, just like the Israeli government helped Dr. Yehuda David out, they'll also come to Karsenty's aid. It's time to get serious regarding this whole atrocity.

Update: The Algemeiner said:
French-Jewish artist and activist Ron Agam told The Algemeiner that the whole case was a set up.

“Karsenty never had a chance here. The television station is a government outfit and the unions are anti-Israeli. This entire judgement is not about justice, but about defending the indefensible,” he said.

“It is comparable to one of the biggest lies of the republic, it is a shame that the French justice system cant see the truth and they are hiding behind lies,” he added.
It's possible the court was pressured by the government to convict Karsenty, all because even they have no respect for Israel. It's time for the Israeli government to get serious, if you ask me, and protest against this embarrassment.

Man, this has been dragging on for a long time.

The Justice system does this when they don't want the truth to come out.

Justice protracted is almost not justice at all.

I have been under the impression that Karsenty proved his case beyond a reasonable doubt LONG AGO.
