When sequester came (which affected the Dept of Defense more than anyone else) the first impetus of this man was to CUT OFF White House tours. (PS it’s NOT HIS HOUSE).
When the RIDICULOUS story of the police office and the Harvard professor came about, he interjected himself IN A DIVISIVE MANNER.
When the ZImmerman horror made its appearance, instead of bringing us together by noting he was of a similar racial makeup as the alleged perpetrator, instead he ginned up division and hate in the nation by remarking his son, or he himself would have looked like Mr, Martin.
When a budget shutdown came he went OUT OF HIS WAY to ensure the National Park Service placed barricades among the most visited sites of nation WHICH ARE IN OPEN AREAS and not easily cut off from US.
And NOW he is intentionally telling Wall Street they are not reacting strongly enough to the shutdown in a negative fashion, linking it to the debt ceiling (a conflation at best) another in his SERIES of actions design to instill fear and reaction.
WHY?
What is in this man that he is this way?

Remember all the rants by other presidents during previous shutdowns?
Please remember that this President is a proponent of the Cloward-Piven strategy.
This government shutdown, if prolonged, could be easily used to "immanentize the eschaton."
The moment may well be at hand.
It is my OPINION that IF (and I don't buy into it) Cloward Piven is the RESULT of Obama's action, there will be armed resistance, revolution and civil war in the United States, as the population AND ARMED FORCES divide.
I agree with Epa. I believe the left is overconfident. For Cloward-Piven to work in their favor they need to diminish the power of the right-wing a whole lot more. Gun confiscation is certainly a pre-requisite.
But Obama is a narcissist drunk on his own infallibility. A lot of the Dem party and their media allies are just along for the ride. Looking to enhance their power through Obama. I don't believe they understand how unstable he is at core.
I hesitate to use historical analogies because they are at best imperfect but the situation we have in the US today reminds me a lot of Spain before the Civil War. Another case where the left jumped the gun and paid the price.
I tend to agree with anonymous, Both Reid and Obama seem determinated to push this whole shutdown to a climax.
What Anonymous #2 is saying is this is NOT Cloward-Piven. Or, if it is, it very a very sloppy stab at it.
Instead, as he says, Obama is drunk on his own narcissism, and he is biting off more of America than he can chew.
I think it would not be surprising if Obama thought Obamacare itself is his Cloward-Piven moment, and that's why he is fighting so hard to implement it exactly the way it is (no tinkering from Republicans in Congress).
You have to pass the bill to find out what's in it.
Kind of like a bomb.
'Obama thought Obamacare itself is his Cloward-Piven moment, and that's why he is fighting so hard to implement it exactly the way it is.'
I Agree Pasto.
They are not bolsheviks.
YET.
History has a tendency to repeat itself.
Another 'October revolution' around the corner?
