Media Bias and Obamacare Web?

That was putting pressure on the federal government and the states that are running their own insurance exchanges to fix the problems amid strong demand for the private insurance plans.

But never mind that, AP and the govt, and MANY OTHERS are interpreting page loads as sign ups for this health care plan.

I attempted for TWO DAYS to enter the system. Every time I did it was a page load. Sometimes 15-20 in several minutes trying to break through.

What are my intentions? Well as I detailed elsewhere from the Maine State info site on ACA my premium would be:

My Base Rate for the Gold Plan ($1052/month) * my age factor (2.952) * my state area factor (0.94)* my plan factor(1.27) or an astounding $3707/month. Obviously since this is more than 8% of my income (which would have to be >$540k a year) I am able to opt out. Unknown is whether or not or how much subsidy is available or CONFIRMABLE. A subsidy I don’t want, but since I have to have health insurance or qualify to opt out, I would need. So I am trying to get into the system to find out if the Maine state site is correct, and how much a premium might be and then decide if I am able to get that subsidy, how much and if I am going to think on it or opt out.

I SUSPECT strongly that nearly EVERYONE trying to log into this system is doing something similar though their premiums would probably be less. I HOPE FOR THEIR SAKE.

Another point, given the THREE YEARS since Obama signed the ACA into law, it is utterly inexcusable for the system NO TO BE READY TO HANDLE THE PAGE LOADS. What is significant about this is that THIS IS THE SYSTEM which will handle billing and advance subsidy payments to the insurance companies. THIS IS THE SYSTEM which will handle billing from doctors?? THIS IS THE SYSTEM which will handle comparison with incomes for the IRS?

They are not ready IRRESPECTIVE of whether or not the law itself is a good idea.
