Rest In Peace

With a voice as smooth as 100 proof bonded bourbon Ray Price has long been one of my favorites, right there with the likes of Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. Merle and Willie, even alongside the jazz and blues I love so much.

Several years ago my wife and I went to see Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Ray Price during their Last Of The Breed tour.

He may have been the oldest but still had, by far, the most powerful voice of the three.
