MH370: Last Known Flight Path Vs. Latest Malaysian Government Press Release

The Malaysian Government now says Flight MH370 ended in the Indian Ocean off Australia.

Let's look at the map, shall we?

The news out of the our enlightened media used to tell us the plane made a sharp left turn.

Now, CNN has dropped the word "left" from the phrase, and changed it to "sharp turn".

Sorry that I sound like I'm pushing some sort of conspiracy theory. But what we're being told simply does not make sense to me.

Here's what I understand:

The plane took off from Malaysia, and flew Northeast.

The "sharp, left turn, we had been told about for at least a week, set the plane on a course through waypoints that took it towards the Middle East.

Anybody out there got any idea what's going on?

If that jetliner went down in the location that is now being stated as the location, shouldn't there be bodies?

Any bodies recovered yet?

The only way this ends is IF the black box is found at the bottom of the indian ocean, or the aircraft is destroyed enroute to its target, filled with the living or dead bodies of the passengers and god knows what else.

The only way this KNOWN route can join with a crash in the south Indian ocean is another turn south

AoW I THINK after 3 weeks the bodies would sink. We need something self buoyant. Cargo, identifiable insulation/styrofoam stuff like that.

IIRC, The passenger seat cushions are supposed to also serve as floatation devices.

Perhaps the insurance payout won't cover any more of their incompetence.

No reported confirmation of any salvaged flotsam belonging to MH370 ...yet. The definitive Malay 'crash' assessment/statement is based on nothing more than yet another theory...mathematical, but only a theory.

If none of the flotsam proves/confirms MH370 related, anticipate conflicting statement from Inmarset next.

Quoting from actual statement:

"Malaysia Airlines deeply regrets that we have to assume beyond any reasonable doubt that MH370 has been lost and that none of those on board survived. As you will hear in the next hour from Malaysia's Prime Minister, we must now accept all evidence suggests the plane went down in the Southern Indian Ocean," the message read."

HAVE TO ASSUME? BEYOND ANY REASONABLE DOUBT?

WTF?

Plane search puts Malaysian minister on defensive
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia >> Hishammuddin Hussein's wife is a princess. His cousin is prime minister, and he's been mentioned as a possible successor. But right now, as the face of his country's effort to find Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, he is the man who has delivered more than two weeks of frustrating news about one of the most confounding searches in aviation history.
