"You will pay for your crimes”

The Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament a little while ago, speaking to the Russians.

We may be looking at how a cascade of unlikely civilization level errors spin out of control.

1. Russians REPORTEDLY deliver ultimatum to Crimean garrison of UKR to surrender or be attacked
2. Russians OVERHEARD live demanding the surrender of 2 UKR ships
3. Reports now… Russian troops preparing to cross and seize Donetsk and Kharkhov

This sounds like the Eastern Front in 1943.

So if the Crimean garrison of the UKR decides to NOT surrender and makes a stand .. supposed they are all massacred in some kind of heroic stand? Russia is now DENYING they said this, BTW, and indeed, if the Crimean UKR garrison turns into the Alamo, we have a new an unanticipated situation.

If the UKR ships will not surrender, we have a new kind of situation. Who shoots first? What happens if this goes outlive?

Last and MOST dangerous, if Russian infantry, armor and airborne roll across to seize two cities HEAVILY fought over in WW2, inside the Ukraine, I assume the UKR armed forces of 129,000 will oppose. Now, we have the president of Poland moving troops and equipment towards the eastern Polish border with UKR, the former breadbasket of the USSR. Poland is  NATO member.

Russia And China ‘In Agreement’ Over Ukraine

Russia has said China is largely “in agreement” over Ukraine, after other world powers condemned Moscow for sending troops into the country.

Putin needs to be considering the chances NOT of Obama responding effectively, but of other actors taking this situation into another dimension, that few can control.
