Is The United States Fighting To Lose The War

The online journal "BackChannels" provides excellent synopsis of geopolitical Islam:

It’s obvious that the US did the bare minimum in the fight for Ramadi. The list of targets destroyed by American air strikes reads like satire or gallows humor.
“Near Ramadi, seven airstrikes struck one large and five small ISIL tactical units and an ISIL IED facility, destroying four ISIL resupply structures, three ISIL fighting positions, two ISIL buildings, two ISIL heavy machine guns, an ISIL VBIED and an ISIL motorcycle.”
No artillery positions were struck, even though they ringed the city. None of the ten trundling Islamic State armored bulldozers were struck. No waves of Islamic State assault infantry were struck. My guess is that President Obama wants to simply run out the clock and leave this mess to his successor. He’s pretending to help, but our contribution is often worthless.
“Anybody who supported the government will probably be executed within the next 24 hours,” said Baer. “Their families will be driven out. It will be a bloodbath over the next couple of days. All the soldiers who were captured will be executed.”
A flood of residents has been pouring out of Ramadi toward safer parts of Anbar and Baghdad in recent days.
“We are witnessing a humanitarian crisis,” said Haimour, estimating that as many as 8,000 people had left the city Sunday.

US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Monday he was “absolutely confident” that the situation could be reversed within days.

The way it looks for Ramadi, Sunnis, and Shiites in Iraq is not good.
The additional forces summoned by Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi: Hashed al-Shaabi, Shiite “popular mobilization” units with a reputation for deeply seated Sunni-directed animus.  The Merthi’s piece in Yahoo goes on to note, “Abadi and Washington had hoped to rely on regular forces and locally recruited Sunni tribal fighters newly incorporated into the Hashed al-Shaabi to fight IS in Anbar.”
In light of de facto black-and-white divisions in perception — for some (to many) in some spaces, one is either a this or a that, choose a label, and not noted for the better qualities of one’s more essential humanity — political habits may pit “all against all” (and some spoil for the Great Shiite vs Sunni War) when and where “all for all” is essential to forestall the march of the tyrannical.

Humanitarian crises? Islamic State is following through with the threat of Usama bin Ladin - he told us that he would bankrupt our economy in this fight. IS is bankrupting the economy of many nations now.

Should be obvious to anyone at this point that Obama is helping them as much as he can without waking the people up to that fact.
He is far eviler than even I thought.
4 years ago I would have almost ridiculed someone who made that statement.
This is beyond stupidity or coincidence, this is on purpose and it's not just Obama alone.
Two choices for us at this point; Ignominious surrender and enslavement or blood in the streets. Just look around at everything and think !!!

I've come to that same conclusion.

Obama is very smart about slowly ratcheting up the pressure on people like us so that we would look absolutely crazy to say, "This far and no further."

In other words, it's almost impossible to start a fight that would find sympathy among anyone other than us.

I think the closest he has come to making a mistake is the recent stuff with illegal immigrants and forcing Christian churches to hold gay weddings (which has not happened yet).

Thing is, he has the blame spread over so many institutions (primarily the courts and various non-descript agnecies who are imposing their will through regulations that sound boring but are evil in intent) that no one will blame him directly.

It's really horrible.

Pasto,
Have we lost our republic?

Has there been such a sea change?

Remember when Obama was elected the second time, why you said that Obama supporters are your personal enemies?

I know I thought they had been duly warned that his real agenda is Socialist Revolution.

We lost our republic long ago. No one noticed. No one cared.

Now the DOD, MIC, and the rest of the right tilt police state is going bonkers.

Why is that?

Hint, follow the money.

For decades the US has become the proverbial slow-boiled frog through the combination of decades of leftist indoctrination in schools and universities, a public school systems that disregarded the benefits of a classical education and critical thinking, the vulgarization of society by demonizing the values that created this nation, and the complacency that comforts and economic solvency brought. That made us cocky and convinced nothing could surpass or defeat us.

When the social fabric of society began to tear, we chose not to notice. I remember when Tipper Gore started a campaign of labeling records warnings parents as to improper lyrics. What happened to that? I do not know, but obviously did not get very far given the trashy lyrics of present-day popular music.

As a character in one of Joel Rosenberg's books says, Americans do not believe in evil, and are convinced that history ended with the Cold War. This proved to be true during the last two presidential campaigns.

For foreigners like me, born and raised under tyrannies, it's a lot easier to identify evil. We were not born in crystal bubbles, protected from internal evils by the US Constitution and the American Judicial System, and by the mightiest military on earth from foreign enemies.

Therefore it was easy for me to detect something very wrong in an individual who coming from nowhere could kick aside the most powerful woman in America, and her former- president husband.

Everything I read about this new candidate was a red flag (no pun intended.) Why was I the only one to see it among my family and friends? I was labeled a fanatic, a nut, a Nazi, a xenophobe (me, a Hispanic!!!) an Islamophobe, and all those labels put on people who try to raise awareness on the evils of a threatening ideology.

Now we are and react like the boiled frog. I do not think there is hope at all. I have accepted the fact that probably, my grandchildren will at some point armed fugitives fighting to regain a freedom they just only heard about, and which our generation lost because we traded that freedom for the conveniences we enjoy today.
