A White House strategy document regards the group as a moderate alternative to more violent Islamist groups like al Qaeda and the Islamic State.The policy of backing the Muslim Brotherhood is outlined in a secret directive called Presidential Study Directive-11, or PSD-11. The directive was produced in 2011 and outlines administration support for political reform in the Middle East and North Africa, according to officials familiar with the classified study.

This is why we will never know the truth about Clinton's emails. Mrs. Morssi threatened to reveal the content of communications from the US. Huma Abedin and her mother were the conduits between the administration and the Brotherhood. That's also why the Egyptians publicly accused Obama and his ambassador of supporting terrorists and the Brotherhood. That's why Graham's and McCain's roles in carrying water for Obama were so unbelievably treasonous. He may be a Vietnam hero, but he sure is a useless old man with diminished capacity.
