From plummeting oil prices to foreign-policy missteps to growing tensions with Iran, a confluence of recent events is mounting to pose some serious challenges for the Saudi regime.
If not properly managed, these events could eventually coalesce into a perfect storm that significantly increases the risk of instability within the kingdom, with untold consequences for global oil markets and security in the Middle East. Why should we be worried? We would be better off if that shitty regime went to hell. They are every bit as vile as ISIS. The Saudi national pastime is the Friday afternoon beheadings. They don't persecute Christians because they don't have any, they don't allow them at all.
Let ISIS have the place. Let ISIS take over Mecca and deny the Shi'a and other Muslim apostates access to the Haj. Then pass me the popcorn!
And the global oil market? Time to grow up! We've been using that excuse for decades. Time to bust up OPEC and get a new line. What are we waiting for?
