Bill Maher: "Where Are The Moderate Muslims (To Stand Against Terrorism)? They're In Jail"

I don't agree with Bill Maher about everything, but I must say, I probably would not have changed from Liberal to Conservative if there had been at least SOME Liberal voices like his back in 2001-2003.

I'm not saying I'm going to take it back. I will not. There's too much hate, narrow-mindedness, soft bigotry, anti-Semitism, America-bashing, and support/love of death on the Left.

But honestly I would not have noticed all that, if the Left had not been so lockdown solid in ignoring the dangers of Islam in the period after 9/11.

Thank God for Bill Maher and Asra Nomani.

Witness the bleeding hearts who refuse to admit the reality of the carnage and feel better simply by singing variations of kumbaya:

WTF does it mean to be a "liberal, feminist Muslim"? Muslim/Islam is not like Judaism where you can be an "Atheist Jew". Its more like Christianity where its impossible to be an "Atheist Christian". Similarly, its impossible for one to be a "feminist Muslim".

I can try and understand that Nomani may be less of a threat because she believes that there is an "ideology" of Islam that is violent and it needs to change.

But that isn't going to go anywhere. She is not the first one to bring it up either, read up on the Mutazilla's (spelling might differ) from the 11th century (or was it the 10th?) and their fate in the dungeons of Al Azhar university.

This will never go anywhere. These people will come and go but Islam and majority of the Muslims will remain the same because no one wants to actually reform Islam.

Change the damn Quran. Otherwise you will never be able to eradicate the craziness in it because no, you didn't get stuck in the 7th century because of some strange ideology that came out of Saudi Arabia, you have no recourse to get out of the 7th century because the Quran does not provide for any gateway to get out.

The moment you decide to be a Muslim or are born into Islam is the moment you are walled in. The only way out is to leave Islam and get ready to watch over your shoulder for the rest of your life.

Your comments are worth a whole post.

I know you don't post them on the front page because you hole yourself to a higher writing standard, but man, you share information that NO ONE else knows.

Amazing.

Hehe, thanks. I might post it in a couple of days (with minor changes).
