‘Garbage Shrine’ Built Where Bastille Day Terrorist Was Killed By Police

From the New York Post:
A makeshift shrine has taken root at the spot where the Bastille Day terrorist was shot dead — with garbage, stones and messages of hate piling up.
Passers-by sickened and enraged by Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel’s truck rampage in Nice, which left 84 people dead and scores injured last Thursday, have been dumping trash and spitting on the mound.
Someone scrawled “Coward!” at the spot near where Bouhlel’s truck ended its deadly run amid a hail of police bullets, The Local reported.
Among the messages left at the site were the words “F— Daesh,” another name for ISIS, along with an image of a middle finger.
Meanwhile, a loving memorial lies nearby for the victims, including 10 children, on the Promenade des Anglais. Among the items left were a sea of flowers, candles and teddy bears.

"Western nations can win this fight by pushing back against the hateful ideologies that twist and distort Islam, a religion that teaches peace and justice and compassion".

Obama said this after Nice. Question: When he refers to "hateful ideologies that twist and distort Islam" does he mean from inside or from outside Islam?

Most of us naturally assume that he is referring to inside Islam. However, I believe he is starting to make the case that "peaceful" Islam is being distorted form outside. By folks like us. IOW, WE are the perpetrators of the hateful ideologies.

Every time we describe Islam for what we believe it to be we distort Islam causing otherwise peaceful Muslims to go on a violent rampages which we incorrectly call jihad. In other words it is OUR fault that violent Muslims behave as they do. Killing and dying to defend the honor of their god and prophet and goaded to do so by us, the truly hateful ones.

Reread that quote and notice just how carefully crafted it is. Then wait for Obama's reaction when some Muslim decides to avenge this "shrine" in Nice or some other provocation elsewhere.
