Because China stole it to use as leverage against America. Obama fell for it like an idiot, while Trump's saying "China, what you stole is not even important, nice try but keep it and shove it up your ass."

Fact is China has stolen what it needed to steal from the drone. Which is why they're willing to give it back. Obama admin is lubing up and bending over begging for the drone. They're giving the Chinese everything they want. They have the tech and now Americans are willing to negotiate with them on anything else the Chinese want.

Agree with Pastorius. They want the technology. Why spend billions to develop what you can steal? A lot cheaper. Just like I am sure China was allowed to harvest the technology from the helicopter that crashed in Abbottabad when we sent a team to get OBL. Either that, or the technology went to the highest bidder. Invisible skin is a nice asset for such missions.

Your explanation is reasonable.
We certainly should not negotiate with China if they steal something from us.
We need to decide how we feel about drones, develop a policy for our response, and follow that.
Without a policy, we look like pussies.

Leave the damn drone with the Chinese. Put pressure on them in other ways until they learn their lesson. China is wholly dependent on Americans buying their shit. The moment that stops, China crumbles.

When I was younger I used to think John Lennon's words had some profound meaning..... but he was just espousing some leftist mantras that he himself didn't plan to live by.
Trump's not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to geopolitics. His worldview seems to be encapsulated within his business world cocoon.

Considering the Political World cocoon has been dominated by Globalist idiots willing to trade away values in turn for "peace" (a la John Lennon), the business world with it's insistence on making things work and work profitably, is a much better model.
