Didn’t Take Trump’s Seriously On Immigration And Border Wall? First Steps Already In Works

From Reuters, by way of Weasel Zippers:
In a wide-ranging request for documents and analysis, President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team asked the Department of Homeland Security last month to assess all assets available for border wall and barrier construction.
The team also asked about the department’s capacity for expanding immigrant detention and about an aerial surveillance program that was scaled back by the Obama administration but remains popular with immigration hardliners.
And it asked whether federal workers have altered biographic information kept by the department about immigrants out of concern for their civil liberties.
The requests were made in a Dec. 5 meeting between Trump’s transition team and Department of Homeland Security officials, according to an internal agency memo reviewed by Reuters.
The document offers a glimpse into the president-elect’s strategy for securing the U.S. borders and reversing polices put in place by the Obama administration.

To MR Trump. Add some tunneling sensors.

One of the good things about Trump is, he's not at all interested in merely putting on a show of success. He actually wants to WIN.

He would consider it a failure if he built his wall and it did not stop illegal immigration.

Therefore, I have some confidence that he will consider exactly what you recommend. Hopefully, he will be working with others who really think it through and make this work.

The military has some very good seismic sensors that will work well for that application. They were used in Vietnam. Operation Igloo White.

He's already talked about tunnels on various occasions.

The people who did not take him seriously and keep telling us he will 'adjust' are the same people who got SCHLONGED in the last 18 months, over and over.

In 1,0000,000 years we can find them in the La Brea tar pits

Agree with Pasto. Trump wants to nail down his place in history as one of the strongest and best POTUS in American history. In one hundred years Americans may not remember a businessman named Donald J. Trump. But President Trump is breaking through the brass heaven of the American political experience. He wants to win for the average American.

He gave us the "handwriting on the wall" during his rallies. Now, he will fulfill his promise and build the wall.

It is also noteworthy that dishonest media is reduced to writing long columns about his twenty word Tweets. Serves them right. About time they are marginalized for their fake news.

I am also glad he is lashing out against the GOP and their antics to dismantle the independent ethics panel. What.... are they trying to hide?

DTW! Drain the Swamp!
