It has become increasingly clear to me that there was widespread wiretapping of President Trump and his associates and that the underlying justification was pretextual — it was actually intended to spy on a political opponent. And it is equally clear that the nonsensical post-election tale that Russia colluded with Trump so that he could beat Hillary Clinton was a coverup tale to justify the unmasking and leaking of some of the information — particularly about General Flynn — which has taken place. The prior administration was so confident Hillary would win that they left their tracks uncovered and afterward were desperate to hide the truth so they projected and whispered the Russians were colluding with Trump.

Seems plausible. I've been inclining to that theory myself. But a big question remains for me. Why did Flynn really resign?
Yes, that's a real good question.
Also, WHY DID SESSIOINS RECUSE HIMSELF?
Flynn why? Flynn LIED to the VP. Any CEO would instant-fire you for that. Had to happen. I would have done that in a second if one of my key directors did that to the Exec VP. I'd be SUPER PISSED at the director, too. SUPER. Flynn appeared to be a key man. And despite the FACT that many others considered him an asshole, there is NOTHING wrong with a red team to look at info RAW. And we LOST that entire train.
Sessions? I think they thought it would lessen the political pressure. And once Rice came up, it appears they were right. Anyone heard much? Hmmmmmm
As for 'wiretapping', you can use those who say 'there still is no proof of wiretapping' in a stand alone statement as obtuse and hostile morons. I know of NO ONE in my life, and I include all those who voted for HRC who did not KNOW the meaning of wiretapping in the 140 char tweet was 'electronic observation'
Finally the import of this entire episode is NOT that political opposition was targeted by power for domestic political reasons under the 'shade' of existing law, but that an OUT OF CONTROL POLICE STATE AMERICAN STYLE ... KNOWN AS THE INFORMATION STATE ... was trying to execute REPRESSION AMERICAN STYLE (again .remember the IRS, and LERNER?)>>>>>>

Attorney General Jeff Sessions was noncommittal when asked in an interview whether he would fulfill a request by Republican lawmakers to review evidence that former IRS official Lois Lerner engaged in criminal misconduct by targeting tea-party and conservative groups for their political beliefs.
“Are you inclined to open an investigation of Lois Lerner and the IRS?” asked Boston talk-radio host Howie Carr Thursday.
Sessions hesitated.
“Well, I would, I’m, uh, interested in that letter,” he said.
“We’re going to respond to it, and I think it would be appropriate to review certain cases, and we’ll evaluate this one for possible review,” the attorney general said.
I'll believe that when I see it.
It would be a sign of complete commitment to damage the political class
Right. And there is no apparent will to do so at this point.
