Sytx' theory on the banning / de-platforming is the most persuasive I've seen. He has multiple videos on the subject.

His thesis is that the legacy media, while a dying institution, still commands enormous clout given the reach and resources of Comcast, Time-Warner, Disney etc. Since these media giants failed to get in on the alt-media surge early on they are now muscling in to preserve their dominance. He notes that the primary targets of the tech tyrants are the MSM's top competitors: Inforwars, Rebel Media, and so forth.

If your presence on the net threatens the MSM you are targeted for elimination.

Yes, I think that's it. I also think Trump's presence empowers alternative media through the ideas being in the public square, and discussed by he and others in authority. So they want to get rid of Trump too.

Styx is a weird guy, but he is one of the best political commentators going right now.

"Styx is a weird guy"... understatement. I enjoy his libertarian philosophy. But his "dungeons and dragons" persona is SO out-there. Like maybe he's Rob Zombie's normie twin, LOL. America does produce some interesting individuals. And that alone is worth preserving!

Yep. You and I are in solid agreement on that.
