Shanksville, PA 9/11 Memorial: The Tower of Voices is a year-round-accurate Islamic prayer-time sundial


Tomorrow is the 17th anniversary of 9/11
Ahead of the 17th anniversary of 9/11, the 'Tower of Voices' was erected in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, by the @NatlParkService to honor the victims of Flight 93.

Notice the crescent arc of this tower...the chimes, one for each of the forty passengers and crew....none for the terrorists...evoke the screams of terror in perpetuity. The terrorists on the other hand are memorialized in the 44 incscribed translucent blocks placed along the flight path, matching the number of passengers, crew AND terrorists. open the design drawings and count
