The US cut its CO2 emissions more than any other country in the world in 2019

The International Energy Agency released its 2019 report on CO2 emissions Global CO2 emissions in 2019 matched the record-breaking levels of 2018 

The US, EU and Japan all reduced their emissions year-over-year 

But the gains were offset by the growing emissions from the rest of the world 

The Agency believes the numbers are still cause for hope since growth stopped
