The mainstream media is ganging up on the Bishop. They've published a litany of his offenses against woke ideology, only one of which would motivate a Muslim: his rejection of the claims of Mohammad.
The left has now repurposed the old excuse for rape, i.e. she was dressed provocatively so she was "asking" for it. Now, to refuse the claims of Islam, and do so publicly is provocative and inflammatory. So, if you are killed for doubting Islam, then - oh well - you were asking for it.
Not that it should matter but I have listened to a number of the Bishops' podcasts and, while he rejects the claims of Islam he always refers to "my brother Muslims" with due respect to their shared humanity. Something few Muslims ever reciprocate.
We await the leaders of the Muslim community to disown and condemn this attack. I'm betting we will wait a long time.
