Car Explodes Into Flames At Christmas Fair in London

A CAR exploded in the middle of the street just yards from where children and families were celebrating a Christmas fayre. 

Firefighters were called to Pinner High Street in Harrow after the car burst into flames during the festive fun. 

People out for the annual Pinner Panto – attended by more than 10,000 – were ushered away from the burning vehicle by cops and stewards. 

Witnesses filmed the fireball after it exploded metres from the community event.

Suspicious "Islamophobic" Attack Report by Agency French Press

Avignon (France) (AFP) - A Moroccan man was stabbed to death in his own home in southern France in what a Muslim group called a "horrible Islamophobic" attack the week after France was rocked by the Charlie Hebdo killings. 

The 28-year-old attacker forced the front door of his neighbours' house in the picturesque village of Beaucet near Avignon just after midnight on Wednesday shouting "I am your god, I am your Islam" before repeatedly stabbing Mohamed El Makouli, the National Observatory Against Islamophobia said Friday. 

The 47-year-old man was disarmed but later returned with another knife and attacked the father-of-one again, this time killing him. 

His 31-year-old partner tried to save him, and suffered wounds to her hands, before fleeing with their young child to call the police, officials said. 

An autopsy showed El Makouli had been stabbed 17 times. 

Prosecutors in Avignon confirmed that a man had been charged on Thursday with "murder, attempted murder and possession of drugs", before being committed to a psychiatric hospital in nearby Montfavet. 

"The Islamophobic aspect will be investigated when we interview this boy who claims to have heard voices," a spokesman added. 

Observatory president Abdallah Zekri condemned the attack "as a horrible Islamophobic attack" and claimed that the victim's partner was very clear about what the man shouted. 

"She is sure of what he (the attacker) said," he told AFP. The regional Muslim council said that while it was waiting for "the conclusions of the enquiry", it feared the climate of suspicion and hostility after last week's Paris terror attacks were having an effect on "the most fragile of our fellow citizens". 

Justice Minister Christiane Taubira said Friday the government was going to stiffen laws against racism and anti-Semitism, and wants to give the authorities powers to block Internet hate sites "as already happens with ones that carry child pornography".

I'm not at all surprised that there are people in France who want to kill Muslims.

But color me "highly doubtful" that this is an anti-Jihadist attack.

My guess is the attacker is nominally Muslim himself.

Police are investigating after a man reportedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a Long Island Rail Road train after brutally beheading a woman on Long Island Tuesday. 

Sources tell PIX11 a woman was found beheaded on Secatogue Avenue in Faramingdale, near the LIRR station. 

Nassau County police confirm the crime scene at Secatogue Avenue and that a person is dead on the LIRR tracks a short distance away. 

Police say it is a possible suicide, but will not confirm the deaths are connected.

I mean, what are you gonna say?

I'm sure there is no connection to "Terrorism."

Islam does not condone beheading.

If it is a Muslim who did this, he is not a Muslim.

We must be concerned about a backlash against the lovely moderate Muslims in our community ... etc. etc.

From the comments at CBS: Witness posting on another site says the man hit by the train did not decapitate the woman. He tried to intervene and was chased by the killer into the path of the train. The killer had a machete and was shouting in Arabic. He apparently fled the scene.

Nick Gordon, who lives on the second floor of the two-story apartment near where the slain woman’s body was found, said he didn’t hear any screams but went to his window after seeing flashing emergency lights.

Gordon said when he left his apartment unit to go downstairs to assess the commotion, he first saw a trail of blood on the tile floor that continued down the stairs to the front door.

Jack Imperial, 41, of Queens, said about 7:50 p.m., he got into a cab at the Farmingdale train station and headed toward Secatogue Avenue, where he said the driver and Imperial saw a severed head on the right in the roadway and a decapitated woman's body on the left, on her back and fully clothed.

A night dispatcher at Yellow Cab in Farmingdale, just up the street from where the body was found, said at first his drivers "thought it was a Halloween prank. But after speaking with police, the drivers were told, 'Yes, it is real,' " said the dispatcher, who asked not to be identified.

At 1 a.m. Wednesday, police flood lamps lit up the night and several Nassau investigators continued to hunt for clues behind yellow crime scene tape. Curious residents had watched the police activity until about 12:30 a.m. when nearly everyone went back inside.

He yelled some arab stuff, and went crazy...then chased some other guy who came to help...he ran away because the guy yelled some arab stuff and chased him swinging the bloody machetter ....there are like 3 dead bodies this has been going on since 9:15 PM today...2 people got hit running from this crazy muslim who got away during the madness!!!!
