MA Treasurer Cahill Rips Gov. Patrick For Pandering to Muslims

Our Massachusetts State Treasurer, Tim Cahill, gave our idiot governor Deval Patrick hell over his show of fawning dhimmitude at the Isamic Society of Boston's Roxbury Mosque and is now being tarred with the increasingly meaningless all-purpose smear of "bigot".

Muslim Leaders: Cahill's Remarks 'Bigoted'

Massachusetts Muslim leaders are firing back at gubernatorial candidate Tim Cahill who accused Gov. Deval Patrick of "pandering" to the Muslim community.

Leaders said in a statement that Cahill's remarks are "bigoted ... undignified" and "anti-democratic."

Cahill on Thursday said Patrick's meeting last weekend with about 1,000 Muslim leaders from across the state represented "political correctness run amok," adding that the Democratic governor was "playing politics with terrorism."

Cahill is the state Treasurer and a former Democrat who has launched an independent campaign for governor.

Muslim leaders say they will be joined by Christian and Jewish leaders at a news conference Friday to further condemn Cahill, who is trailing Patrick and Republican candidate Charlie Baker in the polls.
