Morsi's Wife Threatens To Expose Hillary

Prayer Rug-Muncher

Hillary's connections with the Muslim Brotherhood, that is.

From Gateway Pundit:
The wife of former Egyptian president Muhammad Morsi is the latest Muslim Brotherhood “insider” to threaten to expose the special relationship between Morsi and the Obama administration—a relationship the latter insists never existed.

Nagla Mahmoud, Morsi’s wife, is reportedly angry at some statements recently made by Hillary Clinton, including that Morsi was “naïve” and “unfit for Egypt’s presidency,” as reported by Arabic media.

John Kerry: Fun In The Sun

From the Boston Herald:

U.S. Secretary of State John F. Kerry...spent the Fourth of July on sun-splashed Nantucket even as the chaos from a military takeover rocked Egypt...

[...]

Yesterday he dialed into a meeting with President Obama and members of his national security team in the Situation Room, according to the State Department. Kerry also called foreign dignitaries from Egypt, Israel, Norway, Qatar, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.

“Secretary Kerry has been working tirelessly around the clock since he returned from his 10-day trip and there has not been a moment where he has not been focused on doing everything possible to communicate with his team in Washington and in Egypt, within the administration and with his counterparts around the world,” Kerry spokeswoman Jen Psaki told the Herald last night....
WTF?

No doubt about it: if a GOP Secretary of State had done what Kerry did while Egypt was "in crisis," the mainstream media would have excoriated that GOP Secretary of State.

When will the Obama-sycophantic media quit giving the Obama administration a pass?

Morsi, The Blind Sheikh, Benghazi and the Case for Impeaching Obama administration officials

From Barrack Now:

By Walid Shoebat, Ben Barrack and Keith Davies

A Libyan intelligence document has been produced that directly implicates Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood president Mohammed Mursi in the attacks on American installations in Benghazi on 9/11/12.

Those who attempt to discredit this document run into trouble when it is coupled with real-time video we uncovered on 9/13/12. In that video, gunmen at the scene of the attack can be heard declaring that they were sent by Mursi.

After weeks of attempting to push the narrative that a video was responsible, the Obama administration ultimately had to concede that the attacks in Benghazi were terrorist in nature. A few months after 9/11/12, the top lawyer for the Pentagon stated that the war on terror should be waged by "law enforcement and intelligence agencies".

Based on the Obama administration's standard, the Benghazi attacks should be treated as a crimeinstead of as an act of war. Therefore, let us bring forth the evidence, which implicates the leader of a nation state (Egypt) in the attack and warrants a grand jury (House of Representatives) investigation to decide if administration officials should be indicted (impeached).

Since we're deciding who to indict, we must look at evidence of involvement in the attack. Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood President - Mohammed Mursi - is a good place to start. Our first two exhibits are both damning but when taken together, may just constitute a 'smoking gun'. EXHIBIT A is a video shot from a cell phone at the scene of the attacks.

In this video, gunmen are seen running toward the camera, toward other gunmen. At one point - in Arabic which we have confirmed - one approaching gunman says, "Don’t Shoot us! We were sent by Mursi!"

Even though the video is in Arabic, you can discern the word "Mursi".

Libyan Intelligence document (EXHIBIT B) has now been brought forward by credible Arabic translator Raymond Ibrahim. This document discusses the confessions of six members of an Egyptian Ansar al-Sharia cell who were arrested and found to be involved in the Benghazi attacks. Ibrahim reported the following about this document:
It discusses the preliminary findings of the investigation, specifically concerning an “Egyptian cell” which was involved in the consulate attack. “Based on confessions derived from some of those arrested at the scene” six people, “all of them Egyptians” from the jihad group Ansar al-Sharia (“Supporters of Islamic Law), were arrested.
According to the report, during interrogations, these Egyptian jihadi cell members “confessed to very serious and important information concerning the financial sources of the group and the planners of the event and the storming and burning of the U.S. consulate in Benghazi…. And among the more prominent figures whose names were mentioned by cell members during confessions were: Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi...
Libyan Intelligence Document translated by Ibrahim
Libyan Intelligence Document translated by Ibrahim (EXHIBIT B)
That the attack was planned and involved foreigners corroborates what Libyan President Mohamed Yousef el-Magariaf told CBS News' Bob Scheiffer on Face the Nation on Sunday, September 16th (EXHIBIT C):
BOB SCHIEFFER: And you believe that this was the work of al Qaeda and you believe that it was led by foreigners. Is that-- is that what you are telling us?
MOHAMED YOUSEF EL-MAGARIAF: It was planned-- definitely, it was planned by foreigners, by people who-- who entered the country a few months ago, and they were planning this criminal act since their-- since their arrival.
Relative to Mursi's alleged involvement, El-Magariaf provided only circumstantial evidence by identifying attackers as being "foreigners" but in retrospect, the Libyan president's claims that day are corroborated by the Libyan Intelligence document and the real-time video. It is for this reason that we request he be required to testify in front of the grand jury.

Also on September 16, 2012, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice appeared on five Sunday talk shows and asserted the attack was the result of a spontaneous demonstration in response to a video. Here are quotes from Rice's appearance during on ABC This Week, during which she said the following (EXHIBIT D):
“What happened this week in Cairo, in Benghazi, in many other parts of the region was a result, a direct result of a heinous and offensive video that was widely disseminated, that the U.S. Government had nothing to do with, which we have made clear is reprehensible and disgusting.”
At a minimum, Rice was directing attention away from Mursi's involvement with this demonstrably false statement. A short time later, she went as far as directly defending Mursi:
"President Obama picked up the phone and talked to President Mursi in Egypt and as soon as he did that, the security provided to our personnel and our embassies dramatically increased... President Mursi has been out repeatedly and said that he condemns this violence. He's called off... and his people have called off any further demonstrations and have made very clear, that this has to stop."

Rice attempted to leave viewers with two impressions, one demonstrably false and the other belied by hard evidence:
  1. A video was responsible
  2. Mursi was not involved
At this point, we'd like to introduce an exchange between House Oversight Committee member, Rep. Trey Gowdy and Gregory Hicks, a whistleblower and the top-ranking State Department official in Libya once Ambassador Stevens was murdered (EXHIBIT E). This entire exchange is being introduced as evidence but we ask you, the Grand Jury, to pay particularly close attention at the 1:45 mark, when Gowdy introduces the name Beth Jones and reads from an email she sent to several State Department officials on September 12th, one day after the attack. In her email, Jones wrote the following:
"I spoke to the Libyan Ambassador... When he said his government suspected that former Gadhafi regime elements carried out the attacks, I told him that the group that conducted the attacks - Ansar al-Sharia - is affiliated with Islamic terrorists."
On September 12th, Jones corroborated the claims made in the Libyan Intelligence document (EXHIBIT B) that an Egyptian Ansar al-Sharia cell was involved in the attacks, which corroborates the real-time video (EXHIBIT A). Yet, four days later - after this reality must have been further demonstrated, Rice's statements only served to cover-up the involvement of Mursi and Ansar al-Sharia by extension.

Moreover, Hicks charged that by contradicting the Libyan president, Rice seriously chilled the willingness of the Libyan government to allow FBI Investigators access to what the Obama administration viewed as a crime scene. As such, the crime scene was contaminated and Rice's lies may constitute an obstruction of justice charge.

The first indications that the Obama administration would decide to point to the video as being responsible for the Benghazi attacks appeared to come soon after it was learned that Sean Smith had been killed.

There is cause to believe that news of Smith's death may have precipitated the decision to point to the video. A Press Release (EXHIBIT F) bearing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's name was released some time prior to 10:42pm EST that night. This is known because anAP article (EXHIBIT G) published at that time made reference to Clinton's statement as well as to Smith's death:

EXHIBIT F
EXHIBIT F

In the days after September 11th, President Mursi seemed to adopt the narrative of the Obama administration relative to the video being responsible for causing them. He did so, ironically enough, at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) in New York City on September 25th (EXHIBIT H).

EXHIBITS I and J are two video excerpts from President Obama's speech at the United Nations on September 25th, the same day that Mursi spoke at the CGI. During the speech, Obama echoes what Rice said about his defense of Mursi. Yet, Obama defended him publicly two weeks later, even after intelligence about Mursi's role had been readily available:

Obama again identifies the video as being responsible for the attack:

Ever since assuming the office of President on June 30, 2012, Mursi has been extremely clearabout his strong desire to have the "Blind Sheikh" released. The Washington Post reported that Mursi "assumed office with a pledge to press the United States for Abdel Rahman's release" and that al-Qaeda's number one - Ayman al-Zawahiri - echoed the sentiment (EXHIBIT K).

Fox News reported on July 3, 2012, that Mursi "proclaimed to hundreds of thousands of supporters in Tahir Square... that he will gain the release of Rahman" (EXHIBIT L).

In an interview between CNN's Wolf Blitzer and Mursi from January 7th of this year, Mursi doubled down on his support for the release of Rahman (the "Blind Sheikh") while making an appeal for sympathy for the mass murderer (EXHIBIT M):

While admitting his desire for the release of the "Blind Sheikh", Mursi said that if release is not possible, increased visitation and freedom should be granted to Rahman. A letter attributed to Rahman appeared in an al-Qaeda's Inspire magazine (EXHIBIT N). In an article published by The Hill, Rep. Peter King (R-NY) pointed to this letter in which the convicted terrorist is credited with ordering a bombing in western Egypt in 1997 that killed dozens of people. This demonstrated that the "Blind Sheikh" still has deadly tentacles.

Four-star Admiral James Lyons (Ret.) who on November 14, 2012, appeared on Fox Business Network with Lou Dobbs (EXHIBIT O). During that interview, Lyons said he believed the only reason that made any sense relative to Ambassador Stevens being in Benghazi on 9/11 was a kidnapping operation in which Stevens could be traded for the "Blind Sheikh":

Consider the itinerary for Ambassador Stevens, who arrived in Benghazi on 9/10/12 and was scheduled to depart on 9/14/12 (EXHIBIT P). That the State Department's top official in Libya would be sent to Benghazi one day before the anniversary of 9/11 is indeed vexing but that he would be sent to a location that was woefully unprotected and had been attacked with an I.E.D. that blew a large hole in the perimeter wall is beyond troubling. There had been several terrorist attacks on western installations as well prior to September 11th as chronicled in a letter (EXHIBIT Q) from House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa to President Barack Obama.

Amazingly, on September 28, 2012, after evidence implicating Mursi in the attacks in Benghazi had become available, the Obama administration announced that it would be providing Mursi's government with $450 Million, despite protestations from Congress. A New York Times article(EXHIBIT R) outlined the details of the aid package:
The Obama administration notified Congress on Friday that it would provide Egypt’s new government an emergency cash infusion of $450 million, but the aid immediately encountered resistance from a prominent lawmaker wary of foreign aid and Egypt’s new course under the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood.
An act of war, which probable cause suggests, Mursi was involved in perpetrating against the United States in Benghazi, is not usually met with a multi-million dollar aid package.

However, if there were a deal between Obama administration officials and Mursi administration officials, to stage a kidnapping operation in which Stevens was captured and subsequently exchanged for the "Blind Sheikh", which side would stand to lose more if the truth were to come out?

While still president-elect, Mursi attempted to satiate his base by pledging to have the "Blind Sheikh" freed; it was practically part of his platform. If there had been a deal that were made public, Mursi's stock would most assuredly rise among his base. Conversely, if such a truth were to be made known, Obama would be finished.

This would grant Mursi significant leverage. Again, we take the opportunity to underscore that the Obama administration had to have known about the high probability of Mursi's involvement in the attacks as it was cutting a check for $450 Million on September 28th, barely more than two weeks later.

GO READ THE WHOLE THING.

Egyptian PM Hints At Violence If America Doesn’t Enforce Blasphemy Laws

From the Daily Caller:

Arab governments are stepping up their demands for regulation of American media to ensure Islam gets more favorable coverage in the United States, while President Barack Obama used his weekend message to again condemn criticism of Islam and to reassure Americans worried war in the Arab region.
Egypt’s Prime Minister Hisham Qandil said Sept. 15 that he expected changes in U.S. law and media practice following the release of a 14-minute anti-Islam YouTube video and a week of ongoing unrest in the Middle East.
The violence has included numerous protests, riots and deadly attacks on U.S. and European facilities since Sept. 11, all of which have damaged Obama’s election-trail claims to foreign policy success.
The United States should “take the necessary measures to ensure insulting billions of people – one and a half billion people – and their beliefs does not happen, and people pay for what they do, and at the same time make sure that the reflections of the true Egyptian and Muslims is well [represented] in Western media,” Qandil added, according to the the English-language site of Egypt’s main newspaper, Al Ahram.
But Qandil’s statement also hinted at more violence if the Islamists’ demands were not met.“I think we need to work out something around this because we cannot wait and see this happen again,” Qandil said.

Dearborn Imam Calls On American Government To Enforce Sharia Blasphemy Laws…

As anger flared across the Muslim world Friday over an anti-Islam video from the U.S., the religious leader of Michigan’s largest mosque slammed Islamic extremists for attacking U.S. embassies and urged Muslims not to react violently to attacks on their prophet.
And he urged the U.S. to do more to stop the people behind the video and those who are promoting it.
“Somehow, they should be stopped,” said Imam Hassan Al-Qazwini of the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn. “The U.S. response should be much more stronger than verbal condemnation.”
Al-Qazwini attended the annual Eid dinner Thursday night at the State Department in Washington with Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who spoke about the attacks on U.S. facilities that resulted in four deaths in Libya.
Clinton said the violence was not justified, a view that was echoed by Al-Qazwini. He said Islam teaches that ambassadors and other guests should always be welcomed.
“This is not what Islam preaches,” Al-Qazwini said of the fatal attacks. “There is no way we can tolerate killing.”
At the same time, he said we can’t “sit and watch” as the anti-Islam video is promoted.
“We can do more to stop inciting violence,” he said. Allowing the movie has “broader ramifications for our troops, diplomats and Americans abroad.”
The filmmaker and those who support the movie, such as Quran-burning Pastor Terry Jones of Florida, “have blood on their hands,” he said.
RUSSELL SIMMONS SAYS, IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL TO MAKE MOVIES THAT INSULT MUSLIMS

It would be illegal to yell fire in movie theater and it could be illegal to make hate film which was obviously designed to cause alarm?

AS IF THE RAP MUSIC RUSSELL SIMMONS HAS PRODUCED NEVER OFFENDED ANYONE.

Egypt: Salafi Leader, And Member of Constitutional Committee Declares,Conspiring Against Ruler Is Conspiring Against God

From All Africa:

Salafi (ultraconservative) leader and member of the constituent assembly, tasked with rewriting the constitution, Saeed Abdel Azeem, said that conspiring against Egypt's ruler (President Mohamed Mursi) is equal to conspiring against God.
Describing Egypt's president as the "ruling imam", Abdel Azeem argued that as Mursi may be unable to apply the law of God fully at this point, the nation must overcome political differences and rally behind him.
He added in his Eid speech on Sunday in Alexandria's Shohadaa Square that Egypt will return to being ruled by Islam and Prophet Mohamed's Sunnah and not democracy, socialism or nationalism.
The Salafi politician insisted that all forces must unite in order for God's law to be applied during an era, he described as, "of phenomenons"; where tyrants fall and it is useful to follow those who came before us and not those of modern times.

A warning "This evening we find ourselves with massive Egyptian forces deployed literally on our border."

From Will at The Other News:

Dr. Aaron Lerner Date: 12 August 2012

No. I am not writing this to brag.

Today, as Egyptian President Morsy got rid of the entire leadership of the
Egyptian military I could most certainly be proud to note that I am one of
the very few who consistently warned from day one that Morsy the chess
player would move faster than all the predictions. And one of the few that
didn’t embrace the narrative that Morsy was stuck honoring for the
foreseeable future a delicate balance with the leaders of the Egyptian
military.

But I am not writing this note to brag.

I am writing it to warn.

For years the Egyptians have been trying to erode the Sinai force
restrictions set in the peace treaty they signed with Israel. Force
restrictions that were a necessary condition for Israel agreeing to restore
the Sinai to Egyptian control.

The Egyptians see the force restrictions as impinging on their sovereignty.
We always considered the force restrictions as critical for the Jewish State’s
national security and, frankly speaking, with the Moslem Brotherhood leading
Egypt, we need the force restrictions more than ever.

This evening we find ourselves with massive Egyptian forces deployed
literally on our border.

And as Arab affairs expert Ehud Yaari just noted on the Channel Two
Television Evening News broadcast, we now have no idea if those tanks,
attack helicopters, mobile artillery pieces, etc. are going to actually be
moved back in a few days.

These next days – possibly hours – may be critical.

This is the time for the establishment of a very clear timetable for when
this equipment is going to be removed from the area. One that leaves
nothing open to interpretation. One that provides for this equipment to be
removed from the area regardless of the outcome of the current operation.
I want to repeat now something that to my utter shock I have found that
otherwise ostensibly knowledgeable Israelis are not aware of: under the
treaty, the Egyptians can put as many cops as it wants near the border.
This isn’t my interpretation. The Israeli Foreign Ministry confirmed this.
Even Mohamed Bassiouny, Egypt's former ambassador to Israel from 1986 to
2000 told Al-Masry Al-Youm almost a year ago (25/08/2011) “the treaty allows
Egypt to put any number of police personnel in this section.”

And the quality and training of those cops is at the discretion of Egypt.
To repeat: Egypt can have tanks, attack helicopters, etc. in the area for a
few days, but beyond that they are going to have to make do with forces in
police uniforms carrying the kinds of weapons that police can bear. And
given that Egypt can take its most elite commando units and do the paperwork
to make them police and deploy them in the border area they can most
definitely get the job done – if they want – and still honor the treaty.
This is not the time for wishful thinking.

This is not the time to wait and see how things progress.

The United States witnessed the signing of the treaty.

They most certainly should be brought up to speed regarding our concerns as
we also communicate them directly with Egypt.

President Putin should also be aware.

Countries with a vested interest in the stability of the neighborhood such
as our Saudi neighbors and the Gulf states who are now providing critical
financial support for Egypt should also know of our concerns.
Better to douse the fire when it is still small than wait for the
conflagration.

We simply can’t afford to play tic-tac-toe with this Egyptian chess player.

UH-OH: MORSI AND MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD SWIFTLY PURGE THE MILITARY

MORSI AND THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD DID THIS MUCH FASTER THAN ERDOGAN AND THE ISLAMIST AKP:
Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi has sacked the entire leadership of the country's defense establishment.
Among the officials and officers fired are Defense Minister Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, and Chief of Staff Sami Anan.
Morsi appointed Abdul-Fatah al-Sessi as Defense Minister and Lieutenant-General Sidki Sayed Ahmed as Army Chief of Staff. A judge named Mahmoud Mekki was appointed vice president. Morsi also ordered the retirement of the commanders of the navy, air defense and air force. The retired navy commander, Lieutenant-General Mohan Mameesh, was named as chairman of the Suez Canal.
Morsi also cancelled all constitutional changes that gave the military enlarged powers.
Last week, Morsi fired the Head of General Intelligence, General Morad Mu'afi, following the Sinai terror attack in which 16 policemen were killed. Egyptian news sources also said that Morsi had sacked the governor of Sinai.
The Muslim Brotherhood's Morsi appears to be wasting no time in consolidating his hold over power at the expense of the military, which many hoped would be a moderating power over him.
THERE IS NOW, AS A RESULT OF THIS, ABSOLUTELY  NO ORGANIZED FORCE FOR SECULARISM OR MODERATION WITHIN THE GOVERNING APPARATUS  OF EGYPT - OR ANY  IN EGYPTIAN SOCIETY AS A WHOLE.

Mursi now more powerful than Mubarak was, raises fears of new 'Muslim Brotherhood' dictatorship

Egyptian President Mohammed Mursi’s decision to remove defense minister Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, Army Chief-of-Staff Sami Annan and several other commanders from their posts has brought full civilian rule to the country but raised fears of possible abuse of power and a return to dictatorship.

Mursi’s decision to also annul a constitutional amendment that gave the generals sweeping powers was another sign he was seeking to restore the president’s authorities over the powerful military.

Omar Ashour, an Egyptian analyst and visiting scholar at the Brookings Doha Center, said Mursi’s decisions “will enter history as a significant shift in civil-military balance of power towards the civilian side.”

This is the first time in Egypt’s political history that an elected civilian politician overrules the decisions of the heads of the military establishment,” he said.

There have been conflicting reports on whether Mursi had discussed the decisions with Supreme Council of Armed Forces (SCAF) prior to announcing them. Ashour said the decision was “negotiated with some members of the SCAF, most notably General Abd al-Fattah al-Sisi, now defense minister and former head of military intelligence.”

“The appointment of al-Sisi is a very clever choice…al-Sisi, being head of military intelligence, has enough information on the army’s internal factions. This will be of enormous use to the President.” Ashour added. However, Egyptian political analyst Hani Nesira feared the surprise moves were part of a coup that dangerously put all powers in the hands of President Mursi.

He is becoming even more powerful than Hosni Mubarak used to be,” Nesira told Al Arabiya English. “I think this is part of the Muslim Brotherhood's strategy that has targeted the media by shutting down a newspaper and a television station. Now it has annulled the constitutional amendments previously demanded by many revolutionary and nationalist powers, including member of the parliament itself,” Nesira said. Mursi’s decisions have opened doors for a new conflict between the Brotherhood movement and other political factions, or could also be later rejected as unconstitutional, he added.

Aren't you glad Obama helped 'remove' that evil dictator Mubarak?
