All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

I Am Muhammad. Cartoons Are Cool.
Screw the apology from Jyllands-Posten. I'm not apologizing. I'll keep doing this as long as it amuses me. That's the essence of freedom. If people don't like it they can pucker up and kiss my Kabah.
For some time there had been very few sites posting the (original)cartons. Lately, more & more sites have posted them. The story seems to have also just hit the mainstream media (well, they're only a few months late ;-).
Today Michelle Malkin posted the cartoons on her site (one of the most widely read on the net).
So, I guess the Prophet (pbuh) is out of the bag-- to coin a phrase! :-)
I have posted some of these cartoons on my blog. Other Bloggers have been defiant also and poste these and other images. I don't have a problem with this but we have to ask... Is this the way we want to engage these radicals? Do we want want to be 'in your face Muslim antagonists?' Maybe yes, maybe no, but we have to consider it.
Demo, My idea on this is, these Jihadi idiots get angry over the stupidest things. (They got angry in Britain over public displays of Piglet from Winnie The Pooh.)
Well, the thing is, usually, there is a quick apology and all is swept under the rug before the masses realize how stupid the behavior of the Jihadis is.
I see in this cartoon movement the opportunity to show the masses (pardon the arcane Marxist terminology) how stupid the demands and whining of the Jihadis truly is.
So, yes, I think we need to provoke them a bit, but nicely.
That's why I said, "Don't be mean. Don't be pornographic. Just draw Mohammed in everyday situations, like standing in line at Wal-Mart, or whatever comes to your mind."
What Thomas is doing here is perfect and beautiful.
I don't consider this aggressive or in your face. If this was a drawing of Jesus or Moses no one would blink an eye. He is smiling and dressed appropriately. This is not a slur or an insult unless you consider the very fact that it is an image of muhammad to be an insult. We are a visual culture. Over-sensitive muslims need to suck it up and get on with their lives.

My abilities with photoshop are limited and my designer is gone, so I found a pic of a girl saying the rosary on a muslim prayer rug instead. Enjoy.

Looks like we're on the same page.
Thomas the Wraith: If people don't like it they can pucker up and kiss my Kabah.
I'm with you on that!

And tax dollars would pay for the art, too.
I read today that Prince Saud is offended. Oh, well...
