Winds of War: Steps Towards a Perfect Storm

As my blog implies, we are experiencing what I call a gathering storm towards all out conflict with Islamism and the Islamists who wish to advance its agenda. The free democracies are unaware of the scope of this war and use terms like the war on terror, which is a tactic and a weapon, not a war, to try and describe a comprehensive strategy being use by the Islamists - a tactic that not only includes violence, but intimidation, infiltration and disinformation in a three front war on the free democracies.

I’ve written about this three front war – military, demographic, and economic – in previous blogs that are gathering together to create a perfect storm of conflict. Two articles today caught my attention that details the activities if two of these fronts – military and demographic.

The first article appeared in JihadWtach by European writer Fjordman, whose thoughts I’ve quoted before. Fjordman, using the analogy of Islamists who use beheadings to strike fear in the infidel’s heart, states that Muslims are now beheading entire nation states of Europe.

“Although this is happening in slow motion, it is no less dramatic. Historically, the major cities have constituted a country's "head," the seat of most of its political institutions and the largest concentration of its cultural brainpower. What happens when this "head" is cut off from the rest of the body? In many countries across Western Europe, Muslim immigrants tend to settle in major cities, with the native population retreating to minor cities or into the countryside. Previously, Europeans or non-Europeans could travel between countries and visit new cities, each with its own, distinctive character and peculiarities. Soon, you will travel from London to Paris, Amsterdam or Stockholm and find that you have left one city dominated by burkas and sharia to find……yet another city dominated by burkas and sharia. For some reason, this eradication of unique, urban cultures is to be celebrated as "cultural diversity."”

Fjordman is explaining the tactic of demographic jihad or a lawful, non-violent jihad on free world.

“British citizenship has been granted to nearly one million foreign nationals since Labour and Tony Blair came to power in 1997. "Grants of citizenship have quadrupled under the present Government. This is a direct result of their 'no limits' immigration policy." "Immigration on this scale is changing the nature of our society without public consent.”

In what was once called ‘white flight’ from the older urban centers of the USA in the 1970s, Fjordman claims is happening in Europe today.

“More white families are moving from London to the regions while many immigrants arrive in the capital from overseas. Migrationwatch said that the change in 10 years had been "extraordinarily rapid'" and "unprecedented." Whites will soon become a minority in Birmingham and other major British cities, posing a "critical" challenge to social stability, Britain's race relations watchdog warned. Statistics showed that white and ethnic minority communities were becoming increasingly segregated.”

The end result, claims Fjordman, is the Islamic conversion of the major urban centers of Europe.

“"Asian youths," a British euphemism for Pakistanis and Muslims from South Asia, in parts of Oldham are trying to create no-go areas for white people. One of them told: "There are signs all around saying whites enter at your risk. It's a matter of revenge." However, it's not just the white natives that are targets of Muslim violence, but other non-Muslims, too. A report on Hindus being driven out of the English city of Bradford by young Muslims was described by some Hindus as "ethnic cleansing." Some of them want to leave the city to escape the "Talibanization of Bradford."”

Here’s the strategy of demographic jihad.

“Former Muslim Dr. Patrick Sookhdeo warned that British Muslims could soon form a state within the state. Dr Sookhdeo believed that "in a decade, you will see parts of English cities which are controlled by Muslim clerics and which follow, not the common law, but aspects of Muslim sharia law." "In 1980, the Islamic Council of Europe laid out their strategy for the future - and the fundamental rule was never dilute your presence. That is to say, do not integrate." "Rather, concentrate Muslim presence in a particular area until you are a majority in that area, so that the institutions of the local community come to reflect Islamic structures. The education system will be Islamic, the shops will serve only halal food, there will be no advertisements showing naked or semi-naked women, and so on."”

It seems, for now, that Britain is losing the demographic jihad. When will they awake? And when they do, will it be too late and the civil war in Europe that some predict will occur? Who knows? But let’s consider another front – the violent military jihad – and look to Kosovo.

Much hay has been made of the Serbs attempts of throughout the Muslims in their country. The West responded by accusing the Serbs of ethnic cleansing. But that aside, what has become the end result? Another base for the Islamists in Europe.

Cliff Kincaid points out some unpleasant truths about the American ignorance of the Islamist agenda in its foreign policy at AIM.

“...Still another example of a foreign policy that is running out of gas is the meeting that took place in Washington, D.C. between Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and a former leader of a terrorist organization. It got almost no attention from the media, but Rice met with Agim Ceku, the so-called Prime Minister of Kosovo. We say "so-called" because Kosovo is not a country-not yet. It is a province of Serbia that is now under occupation by foreign forces, including from the U.N. and NATO. Ceku is a former leader of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), the terrorist group that started a civil war that led to President Clinton ordering NATO intervention in the country on the pretext that he was stopping a "genocide" being committed by the Serbs.”

And here’s our dhimmi foreign policy at work.

“In meeting with Ceku, Rice was not only ignoring his record of violence, but lending the weight of her office to his campaign to separate Kosovo from Serbia and make it into an independent state. If this happens, it would become a Muslim state, by virtue of the fact that most of those left in Kosovo are Albanian Muslims. The Serbs, by contrast, are Christians. So we are fighting Muslim terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan but helping them come to power in Kosovo? This is a foreign policy that has run out of gas and is running on empty.”

We are fighting this war ‘bass ackwards’ and better wake up to the Islamist strategies and figure out how to counter them. Daniel Pipes Middle East Forum is a good place to start.

Meanwhile, back in good ol’ USA, A Muslim youth jihad camp returns to Pennsylvania, complete with an Al-Qaeda linked cleric.

“Residents of Villanova, Pennsylvania who have opposed the expansion of a facility in which the "Foundation of Islamic Education" is housed should really be concerned over a "Youth Jihad Camp" [Before the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the group's summer gatherings were openly called "Jihad Camps"] planned to take place in August. Beila Rabinowitz of Militant Islam Monitor, Al-Qaeda linked cleric among speakers at Muslim Youth camp at Foundation for Islamic Education in Villanova PA 8/2-6/06 has uncovered further information on the Wahhabist ties which go directly to the Saudi government:

• "The foundation's trustees are based in Saudi Arabia. The president of the board is Mahmoud Abdullah Taiba, a member of the Majlis Ash Shura and former secretary of the the Energy and Electricity in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. FIE is also directly linked to the radical Islamist University, Al Azhar, a bastion of the Muslim Brotherhood. The head Imam of Al Azhar, Sheik Tantawi, sanctioned suicide attacks against Israeli civilians, characterizing them as all potential soldiers. Bin Laden's mentor, Abdullah Azzam attended the university as well. The FIE works together with the American Open University and describes itself as 'a satellite campus ' accredited to Al Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt.

• The theme of the Muslim Youth camp being held at the FIE is "Deen and Dunya" - Finding the Balance. The Muslim Youth organization takes their ideological and religious teachings directly from the Muslim Brotherhood - the group which assassinated Anwar Sadat and from which al-Qaeda evolved.”
